“What the hell are you doing here?” I stood up and got in her face. It was Sophie Marshals. My worst enemy. She bullied me in elementary school.

“It’s a public club last time I checked,” she said with a smirk.

“Can you leave me alone,” I said getting annoyed.

“Oh what are you gonna do. Run to mommy and daddy and cry. Oh wait. They don’t like you because you ruined their marriage,” Sophie said with a pouty face.

“Don’t talk about my parents like that. They love me,” I said getting angry.

“They don’t love you. How could they? You look like a piece of shit getting drunk because you have nothing better to do,” She smirked.

“And like you look any better,” I said back.

“Oh I look way better,” I got mad. I was losing it.

“Get away from me.”

“Make me,” she said. I lost it. I shoved her harshly and she fell to the floor.

“Don’t you ever talk about my family like that because you don’t know shit! I may not be the perfect girl but you have no right to make fun of me!” she got up and punched me in the face. I fell back into my seat. “Shit’s about to get real now,” I said and grabbed the front of her shirt and pulled her towards me and I drew back my hand ready to punch her as hard as I could. But I felt a hand hold my arm keeping me from punching her.

“Hope. Don’t do this,” it was Liam I looked at him and he looked at me sadly.

“Why? Why should I let her go that easy? She just insulted my family and punched me,” I said a bit harshly.

He ignored it. “Violence isn’t the answer.” I kept looking at him. His eyes were killing me.

I sighed and let her down. “Bitch,” she said under her breath and walked away glaring at me.

I crossed my arms and looked at Liam. “What the hell was that for?”

“I didn’t want you to hurt anyone,” he said.

“I can take care of myself, Liam. I’ve done it before I met you so I’m pretty sure I still can,” I said harshly.

He looked a bit hurt. “I’m sorry. I didn’t want anyone to get hurt.”

“Well I’m sorry that she’s gone making other people miserable.” I said. “You should’ve let me beat the shit out of her.”

“You’ve got a bit of a potty mouth.”

“No shit,” I said sarcastically.

“You’re still sarcastic too,” he laughed and I glared at him making his laugh more nervous.

“I just want to go home to my boyfriend,” I sighed and said.

His face fell. “Boyfriend?”

“Yea…” I said.

“I’ll take you home. You shouldn’t drive,” he said.

“Fine,” I said and we walked out of the club. I followed Liam to his car and sat in the passenger seat. I pulled the mirror down and looked at my cheek. It was all red from her punching me.

“You okay?” he asked.

I quickly put the mirror up and said, “Yeah. She just punched me. I don’t need to spill all my problems to you.”

“You can tell me.”

“I just met you. For all I know you could be a psychopath. Start driving,” I said and told him the address.

He laughed and started to drive, “That’s true. You never know.”

“Exactly.” We were quiet for a couple minutes and Liam was humming to the song on the radio. “What’s this song?” I asked.

“You seriously don’t know this song,” he said shocked.

“Nope,” I said and shook my head.

“It’s ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ One Direction.”

“Who are they?” I asked.

“Really?! No wonder you didn’t freak out,” he said still shocked.

“Why would I freak out? I flipped out, but I didn’t freak out.”

“Because I’m in One Direction. Listen. This is my part,” he turned up the radio and I listened.

“Wow. You’re really good,” I said.

He smiled, “Thank you.” I looked outside and we were in front of my house.

“Uh thanks for the ride,” I said and smiled.

“You’re welcome. Oh wait a second. Um….. here’s my number. Call or text me if you need something,” He said and handed me a piece of paper. I put it in my pocket.

“I’ll probably use it,” I smiled.

“Bye,” he said.

“Bye,” I gave him a quick hug and went to my front door and waved. He smiled and waved back and drove off. I got my keys and unlocked the door and I couldn’t believe what I saw.
