Hold Me Forever

Blood trickled down the side of her face, drenching her once white dress, and dripping onto the tile floor. Her legs were scratched and cut open. Her body frozen, leaving her defenseless against the hunters. Thick rope tied her hands behind her back making burns form on her wrist.

About ten of the hunters moved in a circle around her, waiting to strike again. one of them smirked down at her and stepped forward, his hand raised. Claire closed her eyes tight and braced herself for the hit. It never came. She felt herself being lifted from the ground. Tingles shot through her entire body at his touch. "It's okay C., I got you baby. You're safe now"

His touch and voice instantly calmed her and even after all that's happened she believed him. She was safe. "Shh. Your okay I promise, you"re just going to have to trust me, okay? I love you and nothing is ever going to change that. No one will ever hurt you again. God, I'm so sorry." he laced her with comforting words and she opened her eyes. "I accept you Clarity".

A friendship, a rejection, hurt, pain, betrayal, blood, sweat, tear... and a bond that last forever.
