I wanted to cry at the sound of my alarm going off. I was so nervous for my first day of school. This is going to be a lot different than my old school

At my old school everyone knew everyone. It's not going to be like that at this school. The school is also huge. I don't even know how I'm going to find all of my classes.

I turned my alarm off before getting up to walk to my bathroom. I hadn't unpacked all of my bathroom stuff yet so I had to look for my makeup and my curling iron.

Once I found my makeup I pulled my hair back and put on just a little makeup. I don't like wearing too much. Then I pulled down my hair and curled it.

I walked back into my room to get dressed. I decided to wear an army green off the shoulder shirt, skinny jeans, and some brown sandals. I grabbed my brown monogram Louis Vuitton bag before heading downstairs.

"Good morning sweetheart." My mom said once I entered the kitchen. She was making omelets.

"Good morning." I respond. I walked to the fridge and grabbed a water bottle then took my vitamins.

"Hey." Paxton says as he walks into the kitchen and heads straight for the fridge. He starts to eat a leftover breadstick from dinner last night.

"I'm making omelets. Don't get full from soggy breadsticks." My mom says.

"I don't think Paxton ever gets full." I laugh.

"Shut up. I work out a lot. That tends to make you hungry you know."

"Yeah well I don't think working out makes you eat constantly. You probably eat more than I do in a week in just one day." I throw back at him.

"Enough you two it's too early for all this fighting here are your omelets." My mom sets a plate in front of each of us. My omelet consisted of egg whites, spinach, and peppers. Paxton's was a regular omelet with ham and cheese.

"Good morning." My dad says as he walks into the kitchen.

"Hey." Paxton responds with a mouthful of omelet.

"Gross, close your mouth." I roll my eyes. Paxton and I bicker a lot but we actually are like best friends.

"I have a surprise for you two!" My dad seems really excited.

"What is it?" I ask.

"Well since you two need a way to get to school. I decided you might need a vehicle." My dad held a set of car keys in his hands.

"What! Really?!" I stand up and run towards him to hug him. Paxton and I both had vehicles back in Minnesota but it was just too much to get them down here.

"Yes, you will be sharing but I still think it's important for you guys to have something to get you to and from school."

"What? Sharing?" Paxton drops his fork onto his plate.

"Let's not get all upset about the sharing. Some kids don't even have vehicles. Be lucky you guys get one and aren't even paying a dime for it." My mom pipes in.

"Thank you!" I say. Trying not to sound like a spoiled brat like Paxton.

"So what kind of vehicle is it?" Paxton asks.

"Why don't you go see for yourselves." My dad says before throwing the keys at Paxton.

We walk outside and there sat a gray Jeep Wrangler.

"I love it! Thank you so much!" I squeal while hugging my dad.

"Dibs on driving." Paxton says.

"Totally okay with me." I respond. I'm not the biggest fan of driving especially here. This town is giant. I'm used to driving in my tiny town back in Minnesota.
