CHAPTER 18

DANI'S POV

I woke up with arms around my waist. I was relieved when I figured this was all just a bad dream. Wrong. I looked to the person cuddling me expecting it to be Taylor, it was Lance. I tried to get out of his grip.

"Lance, let me go." I said. He knows I don't like him so why would he be doing this crap. "Lance." I said. I slapped his arm. "Ow, damn!" he shouted. "Let me go." I demanded. "Why?" he questioned. "Because 1. I don't like you. 2. I need to piss. and 3. You're making me think of Taylor." I murmured the last part. "Fine." he let me go. I got up and turned to him. "Did you take me just to hurt Taylor or do you really like me?" I sassed. "Both real-"

"No, no. I want one reason. Choose which one you feel more." I demanded. "To hurt Taylor." he said. "Why do you hate him so much?!" I screamed with tears in my eyes. "There's reasons, Daniella." he said looking to the ground. "Tell me." I said. "Didn't you have to piss!" he yelled. "Fine, jack ass." I'm suprised he didn't hurt me when I said that. I went to the restroom and came out and he wasn't there. I looked though the halls, considering this was a pretty big house. I looked downstairs because I heard voices and I just listened.

It sounded like my dad's voice. "You got it?" the voice that sounded like my father's said. "Yea, how much do you need?" Lance said. I tip-toed downstairs and peeked my head around the corner only to be instantly seen by my father. "Daniella?" he asked. Shit.

"What are you doing here?" he asked. Lance came over and put his arm around me and walked back to my dad. "She's my girlfriend." he explained. I got disgusted at the thought of me being Lance's 'girlfriend'. I gave a fake smile and my dad smirked. "Thought you were with pretty boy?" he laughed. My eyes got a little watery, my fists clenched, and my teeth shut tight. "His name is Taylor." I said through clenched teeth. "I don't care, you're with a better person now." he said. "NO! IM NOT. IM NOT EVEN WITH HIM. IM ONLY DOING THIS SO TAYLOR WONT GET HURT." after I said that I ran upstairs and cried into the pillow. I thought of Taylor. "I miss you so much!" I screamed and kicked my feet. I cried and cried.

I cried for what seemed like forever. I went downstairs and Lace wasn't there. "LANCE!" I yelled. (that yelling Lace's name seems wrong😂) He wasn't here. Now was my chance. I found my phone, since he took it from me this morning and ran out. I guess he had a stupid alarm set up and went off in his house I still ran. I ran and ran and I remembered. Taylor always goes to this gas station at this time, almost every night to get gum and then go to get food or something. I ran to that gas station and full on smiled when I seen his car. I ran into the gas station and into the candy isle and he looked at me. "Dani?"

I just ran into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist. He kissed me and I hugged him so tight. That was ruined. How? Lance followed me here.
