The guys decided to take the dance crew (only Izzy Ray and I showed, along with a couple other friends, Ashlee, Meagan, and Marie showed up) skating. Pete Patrick Joe and Andy bought our admissions and got us skates, though I told Patrick a million times I wasn't going to skate.

I was sitting out, skates on my feet, phone in hand and every now and then watching the guys skate past.

Patrick finally skated up to me. "Why aren't you skating?"

"Because I don't want to."

"Why?"

"Because..."

"'Cause why?"

"Just..."

"What?"

I sighed, "I can't skate."

"You can't? Or you just don't wanna learn?"

I laughed. "A little of both..."

He grabbed my hands and pulled me up. I instantly wobbled and almost fell.

He chuckled a little. "C'mon, klutz." he joked.

"Haha, very funny." I replied sarcastically.

"Hold onto the wall." he said as we entered the rink. "I'll be right here if you fall." he promised, holding onto my arm.

I fell every five minutes, and Patrick kept his promise, pulling me up every time I fell.

"You're getting better... You haven't fallen for at least fifteen minutes." Patrick smiled, helping me up and holding my elbows.

I smiled. "That's something."

He nodded. "C'mon... I got you from now on..." He took my hands and started skating backwards. "Promise me you won't look down." He said.

I smiled. "No promises."

He chuckled. Then he did this criss cross thing with the skates and I started freaking out.

"Hey... Hey... Hey! Calm down! You aren't gonna fall! I promise... I got you!" he said quickly.

"I wanna go back to the wall..." I whispered. He laughed. "Don't be such a baby, and trust me!" he said.

I smiled. "I don't think I want to..."

"Well, at least I'm not pushing you over." he said.

I nodded.

"Cause I can..." He quickly jolted my arms and I freaked again. He started laughing and pulled me closer. "I wouldn't do that, I swear... Look, you're actually skating!" he said, slowly releasing my hands.

I stumbled a little, but he stopped me.
"All Right, you love birds out there! Time for you to get out on the floor for couples skate!" the DJ announced.

Patrick chuckled. "We're staying out here."

"And because we have special guests, I thought I'd start off with a Fall Out Boy Song!"
Me and You! Setting in our honeymoon!
If I woke up next to you!
If I woke up next to you!

I was getting better and better, but it was almost the end of the session when something went wrong.

Patrick wasn't holding my hands anymore, I was skating fairly slowly, but then this little kid decided to skate in front of me. I was afraid I couldn't stop myself, but then I fell forward. Patrick, who was a couple inches in front of me trying to tell me what to do, went down as well.

I heard some snickering and looked over to see thif group of girls laughing at me.

"Nice work there, girly!" one of the girls called.

"You're so clumsy!" another shot.

"How old are you? Three?"

"Who let you out on the floor with Patrick?"

I was so embarrassed. I got up, apologized to Patrick and then stumbled to the bathroom. I threw off my skates and sunk to the floor against the wall.

Meagan, Ashlee, Marie, Ray and Izzy ran in after me.

"Oh my gosh, Hanna! Are you okay?" Meagan asked.

I shook my head. "I totally embarrassed Patrick out there!" I started crying.

"No you didn't. He asked us to make sure you were okay, even though we were already doing it..." Rachael said.

I looked at her. "Can we just go home? Its bad enough I forgot my hat..." I mumble, burying my face in my hands.

Rachael pulled me up. "Of course, Hanna... Lets go."

Patrick stopped us on our way out. "Hanna, are you okay?"

I nodded and looked at the floor.

"Don't listen to them... They're just wanna be Overcast kids..." Pete offered me a smile I gladly accepted.

"We all can leave if you want." Joe butted in.

I shook my head. "Don't leave the fun just for me..." I said.

"We aren't. The fun was over when those chicks started laughing at you." Andy said.

"C'mon, Hanna... Lets just go home..." Rachael slung an arm around me and walked me out.

The others followed quietly.
