Naruto glanced the outside of his window,
letting out a content sigh as he watch the sun went for the day and letting the moon rise up to take its place

For some reason he couldn't explain, he always like to be in the moon presence, it soothing for him just to gaze at the moon,
feeling somekind of kinship to it

though, he could sense something is amiss with the moon, whenever he goes to sleep, he could always feel a massive chakra tide washed over him(1)

he let a small, genuine smile rested on his lips, the reason for his joyous mood is because he succeed bringing sasuke back, though not in good condition, tsunade and the other jounin praised him for doing the mission done, not without help though

shikamaru, choji, kiba and neji also play a big part in this mission, without them, he didn't know if he strong enough to defeat those sound four and beat the shit out of the asshole who started this in the first place

he heard from shizune that lee and the suna trio had volunteered to help in the mission, but he didn't get the chance to thank them for their help

But of course, not without his own injury though, he lightly traced the chidori scar on his chest, the phantom pain is still there, the attack is strong enough to leave a mark for him to remember

he knew kurama could heal him just fine but with the seal tightly in place, the fox wasn't fast enough to stopped the wound from leaving its mark

the scar was about the size of a fist with small arching lines from the sparks that Chidori naturally gave off. Naruto was sure his back has the same matching scar. the same scar also mark on his upper right pec, closer to his shoulder, the lines went from his right pec to his shoulder

"You should kill him the moment you had the chance naruto"

he smiled 'Hey kurama'

he and kurama had a rocky start in their relationship, but soon the massive fox offered him his own chakra, he agreed, the fox own condition is just to tweak the seal a little and letting the fox feels and see what his warden do in his daily life, slowly but surely, their relationship progress into that of a sibling

even if the fox wouldn't admit it, he has too much pride and reputation to say such thing

'and why should i do that kurama?, to kill my own friend?'

The giant fox scowled, Snarling "He is not your friend, That uchiha brat has betray you for power, he willingly defect himself to that wretched snake, he abandoned everything just to kill his damn brother, why wouldn't you see that naruto?, he's a lost cause"

'I'm not giving up on him kurama, i've knew he has chosen that path but i'd believe he could see that are other ways to get power' Defiant glint in his eyes, he stood on his ground, much to kurama dismay

The nine-tailed fox could only let out a tired sigh, chuckling a little "you too stubborn for your own good, you know that right?"
