Joey and Daniel, best of friends, well that was before Joey blocked out everyone and everything out of his life.
Joey had lived with his mother and step father, one cold, stormy night, Ben got extremely drunk, he came home and killed his wife Betty, Joey was mortified and tried to help his poor mother. Sadly Joey was to late, Ben grabbed Joey by the neck and took him down stair where he held him captive for many years. He didn't want to hurt Joey...at first. By the second week Ben had decided to cut, burn and brake the last hope in his heart. The boy just turned 16 years of age, the same day a woman opened the basement door yelling "he's in here" about five men ran in the door and grabbed the boy softly and carefully took him up the stairs and brought him to safety.

Today was my first day of school in five years, I'm a little nervous but I just hope to see Daniel Preda Aka my best friend, well before he was my best friend.
I just hope I see him today. I stared walking down the the side walk, remembering when me and Daniel walked down here every day. I heard a bunch of kids talking behind me, I looked behind my shoulder to see about 6 kids talking and laughing except for one, a raven haired boy with Emerald Green eyes, my eyes where locked to his. He was silent as his friends laughed, he looked rather sad. I looked away, and looked down at my sidewalk and continued walking. "Yo, Daniel why are you so sad" a boy asked. Wait..Daniel Preda. I continued listening. "Nothing, it's just Joey is coming to school today and I, just thinking about what I'm going to say" Daniel Spoke. I turned to looked at him. "Hi..Daniel" I said smiling. "Wait...Joey" he said really happy to see me. I smiled again, he ran over to me and hugged me, I hugged back. His friends walked without him knowing he wanted some space with me. We walked to school just talking about old times. We got to school and he showed me around the new school.

"So, wanna come to my house and I can help you do your homework" Daniel asked. "Sure why not, I'll call my aunty" I said back. I called her and she said it was fine, but she wouldn't be home all weekend and next week, so Daniel offered to let me stay until she comes back.we got to Daniels house and he helped me with my homework and after we watched a few movies, but after I feel asleep on his shoulder.

Joey fell asleep on my shoulder, I wanted him to be comfy so I picked him up, he put his arms around my neck and he cuddled up to my chest. I slowly put him in my bed, his hands softy let go of my neck. I put the blankets over his, making sure he was warm and comfy. I got in the bed with Joey, as soon as I got in the bed Joey moved to my side and cuddled up to me. I felt I was falling in love with him. I kissed his head, and he smiled. I watched him sleep, hearing him breath in the perfect harmony, I felt his chest move up and down until I feel asleep.
