Chapter 3
The truths
I am sitting in the waiting room as his 'girlfriend', Fionna, goes back there and tries to get him to awaken. 'I have had about enough of waiting around, I must have been sitting here for about an hour, im going to fly to the window' So with this thought I walked out of the hospital and flew up to his window. There I saw something that I couldn't believe.
"Gumball there's something I need to tell you. I know why you are ahere. You used to do this with me, and I believe that you are in love with Marshal Lee. So dating me is basically just a like for you, but I love you, and remember I am always here for you." Tears started to dripp from her eyes, I started to feel the burn of the sun, because I forgot my umbrella at home. Fionna stood up and told me to come in if I'm not wanting to melt to death. I was astonished by her offer, and she opened the window and let me inside. she shut the blinds while I sat down.
"He is not truly asleep, he just has a faint heart. When he really likes someone or something exciting happns to him, he tends to pass out. He is actually awake with his eyews closed. OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES GUMBALL AND STOP FUCKING PLAYING AROUND!!" She dropped to her knees bawling her eyes out. I knelt down beside her and wrapped my arms around her because I know her feelings right now. She clutched me so tight that I never wanted this to end. I picked her up bridle style and floated out of the room window, being sure to sloe it behind us.
"What are you doing Marshal?" She looked at me with her angel eyes and sniffling. She looks so cute. "You look pretty. I mean..." I started to blush. 'Why am I BLUSHING around her, it's gumball I like NOT Fionna....Well maybe I co---' "You're pretty handsome too.." she said looking down at the grown smileing and blushing. I stopped in mid-air. We floated just looking at each other for like two minutes. Or was it more I'm not sure, all I know is that we had a connection that morning. It was coming up on lunch soon and I was hungry.
"Hey, would....would you like to....oh never mind...I'll just....ju....just take you to your tr----"
"I would love to." She cutt me off. I smiled like an idoit. A smile growing upon my face from one ear to the other. I waas so over whelmed that I threw her up like a baby, and caught her so gently. She climbed on my back and we headed over to my place. I took out some blankets and gave them to her, because she was spending the night. Cake was goingn to be gone all week with butler pepermint on their little picnic to visit their families...for what ever reason. So I flew to my room. I twirled around the room, I was so astonished, but wait. I slowly floated back to the floor and walked to the window and wondered if what I am doing is right. Is it ok for me to like two people at once? I mean the truth about Fionna and Gumball is that they are now broken up, and gumball loves me.....but do I....Do...do I love him? or Fionna?
Fionna's P.O.V.
Wow, this is such a nice house...in a cave that is. I wonder what is keeping Marshal so long. I really wanna play some games on BMO with him....maybe I should go up there an--- *light thumps, as though they were foot steps came from upstairs but mysteriously stopped* I have to check this out! So I draw my sword and continue up the stairs with caution. I am not sure what I will get out of this little adventure but im also sure that if it is Marshal Lee naked I am going to faint. "HYYY--YAHH! WHO ARE YOU AND WH---- Marshall? Are you ok?" I walk over noticing that Marshal Lee is standing over the window sill looking out. I retract my sword and hugg him from behind. He jumps, but doesn't fly away. "I like you Marshal Lee, And I always have, but I know that you don't like me. I love gumball and Like you, but I know that you love Gumball. And that's ok! I mean I know that you always toy with my emtions and shizz like that, but it's ok. But I am always going to be here with, and for you. I.....I am alw-----" Before I knew it Marshal Lee was kissing me.
