Pal, do pal, ki hi kyun hai zindagi
Iss, pyar ko hai, sadiyaan kaafi nahi

He stood there at bed and stared her lovingly as she turned her sides not being able to sleep peacefully. She missed something and he knew what. She missed him, holding her in his arms and just being there.

His lips curved in a smile as he watched her kiddish pout adoring her beautiful face. The strands of her hair waving in the air by the blow coming from the open French door.

He enjoyed the moment.

Toh khuda se maang lun
Mohalat main ik nayi

Her eyes fluttered open and in a state of subconsciousness her hand slowly wandered on the free space next to her to rest on his chest, to feel his soothing heartbeat.

Rehna hai bas yahaan
Ab door tujhse jaana nahi

She almost panicked upon not finding him there, next to her, with her. But not even a second passed and he was having his face beside her, holding her in comfort. She hugged him tightly closing her eyes. It was a mutual pact they'd never wake up alone.

Losing each other was their biggest fear.

Jo tu mera humdard hai
Jo tu mera humdard hai
Suhaana har dard hai
Jo tu mera humdard hai

That dance of her on bed with loud music. he stood at the door and watched her dancing on Bollywood songs. She was such a passionate dancer and liked to ruin the bed sheet and pillows. It didn't matter to him if the movements of her hips and feet were fumbled, to him she was perfect in her imperfect way.

He could only chuckle at her childishness, yet he admired her for her unique self.

He raised his brows in amusement as she took out a shirt of him and danced with it smiling having her eyes closed. He knew she was feeling him there, she was imagining him.

He was everything she needed.

Teri muskurahatein hain taaqat meri
Mujhko inhi se ummeed mili

He had a sip of his coffee but his permanent smile didn't disappear even for a second. That endless chatting of her when she was with him. Their every outing was a fresh start for both. She could talk like a news Reporter and he liked to listen to her, be it whatever topic. Cause it made her smile and her smile was his life.

Chaahe kare koi sitam ye jahaan
Inme hi hai sadaa hifaazat meri

He woke up in the middle of the night, having relived the moment his parents shot themselves. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead.

She gathered him into her arms and blandly rubbed his back. Just a look at her and even without words, her one smile assured him everything is alright. She is there for him.

Zindagani badi khoobsurat hui
Jannat ab aur kya hogi kahin

She stood there pouting, flaring her nose in anger.
He offered her a gift box which she threw away followed by a chocolate Box. Next was a roses bouquet which she stared at and looked at him who was on his knees holding his ears. She smiled now and kissed his head, nose and pout hugging him. He was her life.

Jo tu mera Humdard hai
Jo tu mera Humdard hai
Suhaana har dard hai
Jo tu mera Humdard hai

Laying in bed under the sheets, she kissed his chest and eyes. She always did that. It assured her he was hers only. And he loved to receive as many kisses from her as possible. He possessed her.

He closed his eyes as she trailed her finger above his temple towards his neck and continued southwards. Her finger halted at his stomach and with a devilish grin, she tickled him, making him burst in laughter.

She brought out the best in him.

Teri dhadkano se hai zindagi meri
Khwahishein teri ab duaaein meri

He was typing attentively at the keyboard with one hand and the other had a file in it. She twisted her lips in boredom and narrowed her eyes at him. So getting off the bed, she pulled the file out of his hands and ran out to the poolside with him following her. She laughed showing him a thumb.
