Reunion

"A-Alucard.... It really is you!"

Jun felt like her heart is about to explode or drown in such happiness upon seeing Alucard again. She carefully approaches him while Alucard descends on his feet on the ground. The huntress immediately embraces him and shed happy tears.

"I....thought I'll never see you again. I missed you...." She cried softly.

Alucard's cheeks flushed red since he had never felt something like this before. He then puts his arms around her in return.

"My lady.... I thought we'll never meet again."

Jun, still shedding tears held the dhampir closer to her. All this time thinking about Alucard after their parting made her feel like her soul is about to shatter in sorrow.

"Alucard..." She sobs a bit

"Jun..." He softly said as he strokes the back of her head. "I....I'm sorry for parting from you... I didn't know it'll make you feel bad."

"Alucard... I can't lose you... It's just that...I wanted to be a part of you..."

She then looks into his golden eyes shining like rays of the sun. Alucard had saved Jun so many times during their journey to his father's castle. Although she knows the dhampir shows no emotion, He cared for her like he knows her really well. His actions towards her could tell, perhaps...

"I've been thinking and dreaming about you all the time, Alucard."

The blonde dhampir gets speechless when she said those words. Then Jun finally confesses her feelings.

"The first time I met you, I felt a strong spark within. Your strength, your beauty, your kindness....everything... I'm...stronger when you're here with me...the time we fought your father's armies side by side, even in our last stand...against him. When we parted I.... felt like....I died.... I don't want to lose you, Alucard. I need you.... please, I need you!"

Alucard gasped silently hearing the huntress' confession. Little by little his emotions show, his heart beats fast. This seems to be the first time the dhampir had ever felt such nervousness.

"I...don't know what to do or... I don't even know what I am without you, Alucard. I just can't--"

The dhampir silences her with a deep, yet meaningful kiss. Alucard didn't knew that a strong and fierce demon huntress who had been accompanying him along with the hunter and the speaker-magician would end up falling in love with a creature such as him, but at this moment he felt like she's the one who'll awaken his 'inner humanity'. He slowly breaks the kiss and he gazes deeply into her eyes as he gently touches her cheek.

"Adrian." The dhampir said to the huntress in a gentle tone. "Adrian is my true name. I may be used to what the Wallachians known me as, but I feel that...you should at least know my real name." Adrian added. He gently wipes her tears.

"When I first held your hand, I...felt the same spark you had. You're beautiful as well. You've showed me your strength and determination when we were on our way to my father's castle, and fight his armies side by side. You are amazing." Adrian kisses her forehead and holds her hands. "Your kindess somewhat reminded me of my mother when she was alive. The night I've lost her...had given me such great pain. I tried to convince my father not to seek vengeance against humanity or stop unleashing his armies, but..." He pauses as he carefully places Jun's hand over his large scar on his chest and she gasps quietly when she felt that there's pain and grief within him. "He didn't accept it.....due to her death." He sighed in grief.

"But you never hated humanity." Jun touches the dhampir's cheek softly. "You never seek vengeance against them." She added. Adrian places his other hand over hers as they keep gazing into each other's eyes.

"It's true." He said.

The huntress briefly looks at her hand over his scar then back at him. "You...said your blood is cursed before you parted and went to what is meant to be your deep slumber." She gives him a worried look on her face.

"I...don't want to bring danger to this world... Danger follows me wherever I am. And you'll die. I never wanted you to get hurt." Adrian replied. "I'm a vampire and I was born with my father's blood and vampiric traits." He added.

"No." She gently puts her finger over his lips. "Part of you is human, and that is your heart. You're a Dhampir." She said while leaning her face close to his. "I can see what is truly inside you. Your kindness. You may be born with your father's blood and traits, but you were also born with your mother's human heart." She gives the dhampir a beautiful and angelic smile. "You said you'll bring danger to this world, but you'll no longer carry any trouble. The blood in your veins is cursed, but let me take that curse away from you. I can even ease your pain no matter how great it is."

Adrian is close to shutting his eyes upon having his face close to hers.

"How...?"

Jun then whispers in his ear. "By awakening your inner humanity; or should I say comforting you, and giving you the love you deserve."

By saying these, Jun gently kisses the dhampir again, and underneath his white shirt she slips her hand to stroke his scar, then touches his heart. Adrian groaned a bit into their kiss as he closes his eyes and he places his right hand over hers.
