Monokuma

Everyone in the room froze, there in front of us  was a half white, half black bear."Let us begin the entrance ceremony",the voice seems to be coming from the bear. Confusion swept all around the gym.

"What a cute stuffed bear, I wonder where it came from.", of all the people in the room it had to be Lizzy to speak up.

"I'm not a stuffed toy! I am Monokuma the principal of this school, pleased to meet you." It spoke again. At this some of the others started to freak out."Now that we've made some progress, let's get this show on the road.You are the promising, young high school students who carry the hopes of the world on your shoulders.And in order to protect and care for you wonderful symbols of hope, I have decided to let you live together within the confines of this school."

The people around me all start muttering things, they are clearly confused on what exactly this bear means.Only one decides to speak up. "Just how long do you expect us to live here? What are you planning?" based on the accent I can safely say that was Soma. 

"As for how long you will be living together.... There is no time limit! Basically, you'll all be staying here for the rest of your lives!" This causes everyone to stir, I mainly want to know what this bear is planning for us.There has to be some catch other wise it wouldn't be so dramatic.

 "Don't worry, we've got a huge budget, so you won't be inconvenienced in any way." The bear clearly isn't catching on to the reason everyone is in a panic.

This time it was Snake that spoke up, some what,"That's not the issue here!, says Keats". others around him nod in agreement.I can vaguely catch someone bringing up the steel plates on the windows, they have figured out that they are in place to keep us in.

"Oh those, yes with those in place you can yell and scream all you want,but nobody's coming to save you".At this everyone reacts differently. Some are frozen in places,others have tears building up.The gardener has dropped to the ground and has pulled his knees up to his chest. "You can't keep us here, there is no way we can live here forever!" someone says, I could care less who.

However, it is at this single line that the bear reacts,"So, whoever wants to leave this academy will have to play by a certain rule" He pauses before continuing,"I don't care how you do it, but only students who have killed someone will be allowed to leave this place. That's all there is to it.Pretty simple, no?"

At this point some students yell out, others let their tears spill.Lizzy throws herself on me and clings for dear life. The bear just seems to laugh and continue his speech. 

"You can use a blunt weapon, stab, beat them to death, put them to the sword, burn them to a crisp, crush them, strangle them, or even shoot them!".Everyone, with a few exceptions, freaks out and starts to question this Monokuma. "Listen up.From here on, this academy is your home.It's your society.Your world. You can do absolutely anything you want, so feel free to go wild,I say!"

Out of the corner of my eyes I see a flash of red quickly go by.The Diva, Grell, has decided to pin the bear down under her foot."You cannot keep us here, we all have lives outside of this building, people who care for us!" You can see the anger on her face.

In a panicked voice the bear speaks up once more."Acts of violence towards the principal go against school regulation!" His red eyes starts to blink red, and a ticking noise is being emitted from the bear. I recognize it immediately.

"Get the bear away from us he's going to explode!" As I yell this out Sebastian takes a running start at the bear and kicks him into the air where he then blows up.

"That thing almost killed me, but if it just blew up does that mean that stuffed bear is dead?" As Grell says this the sound of monokuma's voice rings out around the gym,"For the last time I am not a stuffed toy!"

Another Monokuma appears from behind the podium on the stage."I'll let you off with just a warning this time, but the next time I find someone breaking the school rules, i'll activate my superb corporal punishment function like I just did just now."As we all stare at it in shock, the bear laughs and wishes us luck in our new gloomy high school life.
