School Rules

Most of the people around me are in a panic, others are trying to calm some people. I could care less about the people around me, well maybe I care for Lizzy but that's all. I just want to leave the gym, when I hear the sound of a ding of some sorts. Everyone notices it and we all begin to search for the noise. Each of us pulls out a small black student handbook from within our clothes. Upon turning it on, I can see my own personal information as well as a tab labeled rules.

I click on the tab to see whet these rules are, since the bear did say it would punish us if they are broken, and based on how he just exploded it can be assumed that his punishments include death. When clicking on the rules tab I am greeted with seven rules as follows:

Rule #1: Students may reside only within the school. Leaving campus is an unacceptable use of time.

Rule #2: "Nighttime" is from 10 pm to 7 am. Some areas are off-limits at night, so please exercise caution.

Rule #3: Sleeping anywhere other than the dormitory will be seen as sleeping in class and punished accordingly.

Rule #4: With minimal restrictions, you are free to explore Hope's Peak Academy at your discretion.

Rule #5: Violence against headmaster Monokuma is strictly prohibited, as is destruction of surveillance cameras.

Rule #6: Anyone who kills a fellow student and becomes "blackened" will graduate, unless they are discovered.

Rule #7: Additional school regulations may be added if necessary.

This last rule has me interested because essentially this bear can crate any rue to change the way we can live. This bear has control over any action we may want to take. My thought process was interrupted by people complaining loudly about how unfair all of this is, and how it should never have happened, upon further investigation it was determined to be Grell and Alois. At this point I could care less, however as I turned to leave someone called out to me.

"Ciel were do you think your going?" I freeze in my spot because Angelina never speaks with that kind of tone. She only speaks with such a serious tone if she is mad or upset with me. I turn to look at her, not only did her speaking get everyone to stop speaking, they were now looking at me too.

"I was just going to explore, to see what our current living situation is, was that wrong of me to do?" I am lying of course, I was just going to sit in my room in the dorms for the rest of the day. However if I told her that she would just yell at me in front of everyone here.

"That's nice Ciel, but you seemed to not be phased by what is happening. You usually would comfort your cousin when she is distressed. I also can tell that your lying, so why don't you come over here." Damn it she can tell that was a lie, she is going to rip my head off later. However now that she mentions it Lizzy is clinging to her clearly shaking.

I make my way over to the two of them, as I do so everyone else goes back to minding their own business. Some leave most likely going to actually explore the school, when I get to Lizzy and Angelina I get attacked by a blur of pink. After a couple of minutes, everyone is gone leaving me alone with Lizzy.

"Do you want to go join the others, we can figure out what is happening here?" Lizzy just nods, we get up to go explore our own personal prison.
