Becoming the enemy

Chapter 2

          

As I woke up the next day I could see the Dimitri was already gone. I probably need to get ready also since we had so many guests last night that probably means we are gonna have a breakfast rush hour. I went into the closet where I put my stuff for last night and got dressed in a white dress shirt and some black pants to get ready for work. As I headed downstairs the first thing I saw was the old fancy lady talking to Cormac.

Dimitri: Hey Y/n get a good sleep last night

Y/n: It was adequate, and thank you for letting me sleep in your room last night. I would rather sleep in your room than go home to Cormac's family

Dimitri: It's no problem Y/n, last time I went to Cormac's house they thought we were dating so I may have punched him in the face but whatever

Y/n: Yeah, have you seen Arden

Dimitri: Yeah he is in the kitchen right now talking to Orion

Arden: Hey Y/n, hope you rested well breakfast starts in 10

Y/n: You got it pops

I talked to Dimitri for most of the time leading up to breakfast and then Cormac came up telling how the lady forgave him but I don't believe that. He said her name was Zenia and she came from down south, he said she's part of the Crimson Sun Clan but that's really down south I wonder what she's doing all the way up here. The Tribe around here is The Arcane Whisperers luckily there a peaceful tribe they saved our town from lunar goliaths once or twice before but they haven't attacked since I was Eight. 

Cormac: I'm here and ready for work 

As he walked in everyone sighed and Arden told him once again he doesn't work today. Usually, during breakfast, I always do dishes just because I'm not happy in the morning and the littlest thing can make me mad Arden always says to control my anger but it's a lot harder than he thinks. We were all working like normal when we heard the church bells go off on a Thursday which never happens unless an attack occurs.

????: Help the goliaths are back

Y/n: There back what do they want this time

I run outside to look at what's happening not listening to Arden and I see three huge grey goliaths

(Not Mine)

Arcane Whisperer: What do you want this time Goliaths

Goliath: We want someone called Y/n you human scum

Arcane Whisperer: Pathetic, Why do you want this Y/n

Goliath: There are tales that this Y/n holds great power we can use to destroy everyone and reclaim what is ours.

One of the Goliaths behind the main one sees me and points at me 

Goliath 2: There he is I can sense the power

Arcane Whisperer: I'm sorry but we can not let you take that boy

As the Arcane Whisperer say this the Goliath pick up his ax and cuts him clean in half. Everyone starts running wildly and the goliath starts running towards me. I start running back towards the tavern when the Goliath trips and falls. It shakes the whole ground like an earthquake. Arden runs out and screams at me to watch out. As I turn towards him the goliath grabs me and starts dragging me away. Arden runs around and stops the Goliath. 

Arden: Please don't take him he is the only family I have you can't take him away from me

All I wanted is for Arden to move out of the way and just let them me but he is stubborn and I know he won't move.

Goliath: Is that so 

Arden Pov:

I see the Goliath pick up the ax and I get ready to be killed but then I see a bright light and I hear a loud thud like thunder. I open my eyes to see a big hole in the goliaths head and see Y/n eyes shining a bright white. Y/n looks towards the other two Goliaths and shoots a large bright laser towards them and they instantly disintegrate. And then he just passes out.

Y/n Pov:

After I blacked out I woke up and looked around to see the goliaths on the ground and then I fall to the ground and the last thing I see is Arden running towards me.

??? Pov: 

??? 1: Well this is unexpected but we will have to work around 

??? 2: I thought you said he wouldn't gain his until much later in life

??? 1: Like I said this is unexpected but don't worry Y/n we will get you one day.
