Chapter one;

      "I'm in love with you," said a man. "But you are a noble and I am a simple Pianist," a woman answered. "Who cares? I would give up all of my riches and land just to be with you, so please..marry me." Yet the woman declined, but the man didn't give up. He kept coming to visit her over and over.

      Soon enough, the woman became very fond of the this mysterious man. To this man she was the most beautiful woman alive. Her long black hair was as dark as the night sky. Her eyes were as blue as the deep sea, and her skin was as soft as a rose petal freshly bloomed. But yet, on the outside she looked so sad. As the wind whisked through her wavy hair she looked at the man, and asked. "Would you really give it all up for me?" The man looked at her with the most heartfelt smile. He nodded, "I would even give up my life." Soon after this conversation the woman agreed to marry him.

      The two of them had gotten married in secret to keep her safe. About year later the woman had given birth to a baby son.That boy's name was....Curtis Night. The nobles name was John and the pianist name, Clair. The three of them were as happy as can be. However, nothing in this world can always be how you want it to be. The noble's other wife, Elisabeth, soon found out about her husband's affair but kept quiet, for the time being.

        In the middle of the night while John was sleeping, Elisabeth went into Clair's house. To her surprise, she saw a cute little boy sleeping next to the pianist. With an overwhelming rage that filled her heart she took out a knife and tried to kill the little boy. But Clair awoke from the cries her baby made, and put herself in the knife's direction. She screamed, everyone shot up out of their beds and rushed their way to the direction of the ruckus. Although Curtis was still a baby, this is a memory that he will NEVER forget. Once Elisabeth heard the people running towards her. She immediately ran out through the window leaving the child and his mother alone.

       When Clair and Curtis were alone she told him "One day, you will be a fine man. And when you are older I'm sure you will do wonderess things in this world. You have your father's and my own blood running through your veins. You can do anything, you might not remember me or any of this really, but know this. Your mother loves with all her life. I will always be with you. I leave you with your father, Curtis. Remember to always love everyone and everything around you. Every living thing has an important part in society. They are all precious. I love you. Your mother will always be with you."

      With that, Curtis saw his very own mother die before his eyes. He watched as every last drop of his mother's blood spilled all over the wooden floor until her last dying breath. The people that were coming towards the house made their way in to see what had happened. When they opened the door they saw the mother on the floor and the little boy next to her. The news of this murder had reached the noble Johns house and without hesitation he ran towards the house where his beloved wife had been murdered.
