Josh's POV
I sighed and rolled out of my bunk, instantly hitting the floor since I slept on the bottom. The bus was eerily quiet. I had no idea why until I looked at the clock. 1:36pm. Well, that explains it. Everyone was out already. Except for Matt who's was probably still sleeping in the back of the bus. I slowly made my way in that direction and knocked softly on the door. "Matty, you awake?" I said softly, clinking my tongue ring against my teeth. "Just give me a second, babe." he replied, his voice still husky from sleep. Shit, I hope I didn't wake him up. Suddenly the door flew open to reveal a shirtless Matt, his curly brown hair dishevelled. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his torso. "Morning." I kissed his forehead gently and he buried his nose into the crook of my neck. "Ramsay, why're you so god damn tall?" he pouted and peeked up at me. I shrugged and pulled him closer, tracing patterns on his hips. "Runs in the family, I guess." Matt pouted and kissed my chin. "It's not fair." he got up on his tippy toes and pecked my lips. I chuckled as he pulled away from me and started rummaging through the cupboards for something to eat. Finally pulling out a box of corn pops, a bowl and a spoon, he sauntered over to the fridge, pulled out the jug of milk and sat down at the tiny pull out table we had on the bus. I yawned and scooted in beside him. "You take up so much room, Ramsay." he smirked and poked one of my thighs which was exposed since I was only still wearing a tank top and my boxers. I pouted and crossed my legs, which only pushed him up again the window more. "Really, Josh?" I giggled and kissed his cheek. "Shut up, you know you love me, Webb." Matt smiled and kissed me gently, his mouth tasting slightly of those disgusting corn pops. I pressed my tongue piercing against his lip and he shivered, pulling me closer. "You're so warm.." Matt whimpered and clung to me. I frowned and pressed my hand to his forehead. "Matty, you are warm. You sure you're okay?" Matt shook his head and buried his face in my neck again. I sighed and rubbed the back of his head gently. Matt was so over dramatic when he got sick, but now he wasn't even making an effort to be. "What doesn't feel good, babe?" I laid my cheek on top of his head and wrapped my arms around him, rubbing soothing circles on his back. He coughed and mumbled something into my chest that sounded like "everything." I frowned deeply and held him closer. "You'll be okay, baby..." Just as I was about to carry Matt back to bed, Mike and Ian stepped through the door. I put a finger to my lips so they would be quiet and they instantly frowned at the sight of a ghostly pale Matt, his legs wrapped around my waist as I carried him back to bed. He groaned slightly as I laid him back down in bed. "Shh, Matty you're okay..." I bit my lip and stroked his hair back. I hated seeing him like this. He reached for me and whimpered softly, so I sat down on the bed beside him. "Joshua, c'mere..." Matt whispered and softly tugged on my arm. I smiled weakly and laid down beside him, one arm around his waist, the other playing with his hair. Matt buried his face in my neck and sighed. "I love you, Josh..." I could feel him smile against my neck. "I love you too, Matt"
One Week Later
"We all fucking know that's complete bullshit, Josh!!" Matt screamed at me and slammed the door to the tour bus in my face. Apparently I made out with someone last night. Funny thing is, it never fucking happened. I don't even drink! I'm pretty sure that I would be able to remember that. I sighed and opened the door. He always forgets to lock it. Matt groaned. "God damnit! I always forget to lock the damn thing." I bit my lip and shuffled past everyone to the back of the bus where my bunk was. As I crawled in, a sharp pain shot through my hip. I looked down and a fucking baseball rolled by. Are you FUCKING kidding me. We always have baseballs and mitts on tour so Mike and Matt have something to do when they're bored. Biting down on the inside of my cheek, I whimpered and held my hip. I smiled sadly at Matt and tried to get up. Finally managing to get up without causing intense pain, I walked back to the front of the bus, slipping my shoes on. "Good job, Matt. Cancel another show why don't you?" I snapped and opened to the door to the cold December air. Oh fuck sakes, I am going to freeze. I slammed the door, probably breaking it in the process. I heard Matt call after me as I walked away. I wiped away the tears that were now streaming down my cheeks. Keep it together, Ramsay. The next thing I heard was the door slamming again and shoes slapping against the pavement. Suddenly, Matt was in front of me. I sniffled and wiped my eyes again, shivering badly. "What do you want...?" I asked and stepped away from him. And of course, I stepped back onto a patch of ice. I fell instantly and landed straight on my hip. "Fuck, fuck, fuck!" I bit my lip and placed my hand on the pavement trying to heave myself up. I wasn't going anywhere. "Smooth, Ramsay..." I looked up at Matt and bit my lip. "Fuck off... You're such an asshole." I kicked at his shin then cried out when a sharp pain shot down my leg. Matt frowned and reached down to pick me up. "W-what are you doing?" I hiccuped and gripped his shoulders as he carried me back to the bus. He stayed silent and continued walking. I sighed and looked down. Out of no where, he kissed my cheek. "I'm sorry, Josh. I love you so much." I smirked and buried my face in his neck. "Yea, tell that to my hip..." I mumbled and played with his hair. Matt whimpered softly and rubbed my back. "I'm sorry, babe..." As we walked through the door, Mike gasped and Ian went pale. "What?" I looked around and finally down at my hip. Blood soaked through my white t-shirt. Must of split the skin earlier. Stupid fucking baseball.
