Josh's POV

Another night of running away from Matt. I haven't drank in so long and now he just somehow thinks I've started again? I shivered furiously, only wearing one of my tanktops that I always slept in and a pair of flannel pj bottoms. Thank god this venue was always open. It had minimum security and the locks were always broken.

I wrenched open the door and rushed inside, shaking from the cold. The only good thing about this place was the heat. I sank down into one of the seats and smiled softly to myself. I could sleep here. Until I heard the door open again behind me. "Josh?! Babe, please I just wanna talk!" Matt looked around frantically and I sunk down lower in my seat, hoping he wouldn't see me. Too bad my blue hair was like a flashing beacon and he walked straight over to me.

"Leave me alone, Matthew..." He glared at me and reached for my arm. I pulled away almost instantly. "Don't call me that." I smirked and look up at him. "Matthew, Matthew, Matthew." Suddenly Matt lunged forward and grabbed me by my shirt. "I said do not fucking call me that. Got it?" He gripped my shirt tighter, causing it to rip down the front. I looked up at him, my bright blue eyes obviously filled with terror. He was never like this. My eyes started to water and I tried to pull away from him.

"Please, just go back to the guys. I'd rather be alone right now, than with you." I sniffled and looked up at him, the tears starting to spill down my cheeks. Matt looked at me and let go of my shirt. He started to walk away and I sighed. "And I do, want you to know I'll hold you up, above everyone.." I sang quietly, tears pouring down my cheeks. "I just want my Matty back." I whimpered and gripped my hair.

"I'm right here Josh." I turned around and Matt was standing at the top of the stairs. "Why haven't you left yet..?" I asked, my voice hoarse from crying. "I just wanna make sure you're okay." He looked down and bit his lip. "Matty, come here..." Matt walked over and sat beside me. I smiled weakly and brushed his hair out of his eyes.

"Josh, just prove to me that you didn't." I frowned and trailed my fingers down his cheek. "How would you like me to prove it, babe?" he smiled weakly and pressed his forehead against mine. "Say yes." I pouted and stroked his cheek. "To what, love?" Matt started to dig through his pockets as I started at him curiously.

He suddenly pull out a tiny box from his pocket and grinned. "Oh, y'know. Marrying me?" I covered my mouth in shock and looked down at the box. "C-can I see?" I smiled and peeked up at Matt. He nodded and opened the box slowly. It was a simple ring, the band was just silver and it had one tiny sapphire on it. Nothing huge or anything.

I grabbed Matt's hand and grinned. "It's perfect....you're perfect. Of course I will, how could I say no?" I looked at him and pulled him closer. Matt looked up at me, his eyes full of tears. He grabbed the ring, then my left hand. He peeked up at me again and stretched up to peck my lips. "I love you, Josh." I grinned widely as he slid the ring onto my finger.

"I love you too, Matt. I always will."

One Week Later

We were all finally home from tour and Matt and I were spending as much time as possible with each other. I'd just gotten home when Matt came out of no where and hugged me tightly. I chuckled and wrapped my arms around his neck."And I gave you a key to my place why?" I kissed his forehead and went to raid my fridge.

Matt shrugged and sat on my deep freeze which sat at one end of my kitchen. I smiled softly and closed the fridge. He grabbed my arm and pulled me closer, wrapping his legs around my waist. "Hey Josh?" he whispered softly and kissed my cheek. I smiled and stroked his hair back. "Yes, Matt?" He smiled and played with my hand. "You know I love you. Right?" I nodded and tilted his head up. "Matty, what's wrong?" I frowned and stroked his cheek.

"My parents don't really approve of us." Matt sighed and reached up to wipe his eyes. I pulled him close and he buried his face in my chest.

"We'll go talk to them. Okay? I promise, Matt." I rubbed his back and kissed the top of his head.
