two days have passed and wendy decided to meet with the police again, this time wendy is dedicated. with police officer jung and his other partner seating on the other side from where wendy and yeri was, wendy cleared her throat. "officer, you know we won't accept the statement you gave us last time." wendy started off, hinting what she wants and officer jung nodded. "i understand." he replied, "i've done my research officer, and i guarantee you that we can bring you and your men to that place." yeri flinched beside wendy as she felt an uncomfortable twisting inside her stomach, "i can bring you to the town that vanished eight years ago.
the two officers looked at each other for awhile before turning their gaze back to wendy who was full of determination this time, "all you have to do is accompany us officer, and who knows if once you clear out our case you can also perhaps finish your previous unsolved issue?" wendy said with a mocking voice, "and how are you so sure about that?" officer jung raised a brow, "officer our friends died right in front of our eyes, i can't just let that go." wendy said, her tears were about to pool again on the corner of her eyes but she was dedicated to be strong this time.
"wendy." yeri tugged her arm slightly, "yeah?" wendy turned to face her friend beside her, "i saw him last night." yeri's voice sounded weak, tears were biting the corner of her eyes as her voice trembled. "it wasn't just last night, i saw him lurking outside the house." wendy's eyes widened, "who? who was it yeri?" she asked her friend worriedly, "i... i saw seokjin, with hoseok... and jungkook, wendy. wendy they are alive, they... he's alive!" yeri panicked and wendy hugged her tightly, wendy threw a serious look at the officers. "we'll inform your parents that we'll add security around." the officer accompanying officer jung said as he stood up to leave, "officer, i saw a guy back from that place when you found us too." wendy added firmly, "this couldn't just be a product of our imagination and i strongly believe in that, yeri couldn't possibly be traumatized in something she hasn't experienced herself, if it was indeed a product of our imagination why were we lost for several weeks?" wendy looked at the officer with questioning eyes.
"if what happened to us is a product of our imagination, where's irene, seulgi and joy then?" her voice was hinting something the officer couldn't quite figure. "didn't you say before that you guys were drugged?" officer jung asked, it was something he couldn't just slide off. "if you said you guys were drugged, you wouldn't be able to tell what exactly happened now, right?" officer jung continued to pry, "not all of us were strongly drugged at that time, but seulgi, irene, joy and i were." yeri answered this time, everything they did was fresh to her memories. "joy... she had the worst one among all of us." yeri said, biting her lip to prevent another tear from falling. then something kicked inside the police officer's mind, "alright, you say you can bring us back there? let's do it tomorrow." the officer said and wendy just nodded, "officer if we end up finding something there i think you should be informed about the guys who held us captive for several weeks." wendy said, "they're sick, and twisted." yeri spat her words out like venom in her mouth.
officer jung's brows furrowed, "i personally thing they're sick inside the head, meaning they're having different mental illnesses." wendy informed, "why are you so sure about that?" officer asked more, slowly but surely getting curious about the girls' case. "there were seven of them that time officer, we met every single one of them." yeri answered, "both of my parents are good at knowing the human minds and their emotions, my mother is a psychologist while my father on the other hand is a psychiatrist. living up to that kind of environment, i knew what i had to and i saw signs of mental issues with those seven boys when they held us captive." wendy explained, dragging officer jung's focus and curiosity deeper within the case. "tell me everything." officer jung mumbled.
"i have some guesses for the others, but the one i am most sure of is the guy named yoongi." wendy started off with the others listening to her words, "i am sure he has ied, intermittent explosive disorder that is characterized by repeated episodes of failure to resist aggressive, impulsive, violent behaviors and angry verbal outbursts." wendy informed them, "how come are you sure about that?" the officer asked, "he was in-charge of looking after me, he once placed me in a cell full of dead bodies, i kept on hearing curses from him as he kept on attacking me verbally, he even choked me when i wasn't doing anything at all to trigger him." wendy added, "he has inability to control his anger or uncontrollable rage without or with verylittle provocation. plus, people who have this disorder often have a verylow tolerance for frustration and become unreasonably furious by smallirritations and that frustration is often expressed by becoming verbally or physically aggressive." wendy sighed heavily.
"if you'll excuse me, i have to get something." wendy said, running to her room then back to where the others are. "officer, take a look at this." wendy said, showing her laptop to the officer. he skimmed over the screen, "so you're saying all we have to do is go back to the marquinton place and you'll lead the way back to the abandoned hills?" officer jung asked and wendy nodded, "yes, we can work our way inside i still remember the place." wendy answered truthfully, "alright, we'll take both of you tomorrow and we'll check out the place." officer jung said, they talked a few more things before the officer stood up and left. yeri closed the door behind the officer, "i don't think going back is a good idea, i just realized it lately." yeri mumbled softly, "i don't want to go back to, but we have to." wendy said, "we have to end this, we have to capture those guys so that they'll rot in jail." wendy added, "but what if we can't find anything there? that officer doesn't seem to believe us." yeri looked at wendy, "we have to trust him, you have to trust me." yeri diverted his gaze somewhere else when wendy looked at her, "i think they're going to take us again, wendy. i saw them around the house, lurking multiple times and going back to that hell hole is suicide." yeri added as she left wendy, "they'll take us again, that can't happen, i won't let that happen." yeri muttered to herself quietly as she locked herself up in her room.
