Insecure

imagine for @RiverPHoeinx Sorry, it's late but I hope you enjoy this as it literally took me forever to write, also sorry if it's not very good as I have been quite busy lately :)

"Okay Alex I'll have to call you later, I need to talk to Froy"

I ran my hand through my brown hair before I hung up on my best friend and slid across the wooden floor in the living room, my hair flying behind me as I did so. I soon came to a stop at the bottom of the stairs which I then swiftly ran up.

"Froy my smol child where are you?!"

When I got no reply I frowned, he always called back to me unless he as asleep that is. I knew he wasn't asleep though cause sigh that came from our bedroom told me so. When I got to the doorway I could see his figure laying on the bed, facing the wall and away from me.

"Froy? Are you okay?"

I spoke quietly as I made my way towards him, my heart dropping slightly when his head moved side to side, saying that he, in fact, was not okay. After crawling onto the bed I placed my small hand on his shoulder and gave it a comforting rub as I did so.

"why are you with me, Lara?" His voice came out rough as if he had been crying for a while before I came in.

my eyes widened when I acknowledged what he had just said, "you know why I'm with you Froy, its cause I love you"

"I know that but you've been with Alex for ages and, I dunno, I just feel like I shouldn't be with you... That you're too good for me." after speaking he rolled over and looked up at me, his eyes slightly red, some tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Baby, gosh if anything you're too good for me!" my words rolling off of my tongue as if I had said it a million times before. Before he could say anything else I pulled him towards me, wrapped my arms around his upper body and placed a soft kiss on his forehead.

"I love you bean, you need to remember that okay?"

The boy didn't reply as his head was buried in my shoulder, but he did hum in response.
