Chapter 6: I Have to Have to Worst Damn Luck

MONO P.O.V

I woke up the next morning, to find Megumi, Alyss, Phoenix and I had slept in Yuuki and Yori's room. "Why are you all in our room?!" Yuuki questioned, but Yori was cool with it. "We had a sleepover, since they didn't wanna stay with the Night Class." Yori replied. "Aren't you happy to see us Yuuki?" Phoenix exclaimed smiling. "No. ITS 5AM! AND YOU HAVE SCHOOL AT NIGHT NOW!" She growled, her eye twitching. "AND YOU LET STRANGERS IN HERE, AND DON'T EVEN KNOW THEIR NAMES!" She pointed at Megumi and Alyss. "I'm Megumi." "I'm Alyss." "Don't mix us up, kay?" It was freakishly weird how they finished each other sentences.

Yuuki looked at us like we were of course, all insane, and then kicked us out. "That wasn't very nice, why'd she kick us out?" I whinned, not wanting to go to the Moon Dorms. "She said go to our Dorms, so I guess we should go..." Phoenix trailed off. "Killjoy." I glared at her. "Oh shut up Female Undertaker!" "OH YOU DID-" Alyss covered my mouth, before whispering, "shut up, or we'll wake up the rest of the girls and they'll kill us!" Megumi nodded. We were heading back to the Moon Dorms, in comfortable silence.

'Are you really gonna let them control you?'

I turned around, but no one was there.

'Must be my imagination.'

'Come on now, I know that you're not that stupid.'

It was a voice, and I knew it, but I didn't know from where.

'Who's there?!'

'You shouldn't let them boss you around, when you can have anything you want.'

'Answer my question, who the hell are you?!' I turned to look around and then I saw my reflection in the water.

She looked like me, but she had Glowing red eyes, and long white hair. She was covered head to toe in blood.

'I am you.' She whispered, and began to crawl out of the water.

I backed up into the other side of the bridge, as she cornered me.

'We're just the same. You're my little sister, remember?' She seemed to be screaming at me, as I covered my ears.

'I don't know you?!' It seemed to be a question than a statement.

'LIAR!' She grabbed my throat, pushing me closer toward falling in the water.

'You know, I always hated it when you lie to me Little Sister.'

"Hey! Hey Mono, what the hell is going on with you." I opened my eyes, which I didn't know had been closed, and looked up at Phoenix. "What?" I asked, before looking at where I was. I was on my knees, covering my ears. "You were screaming like your a** was on fire. And you know not to go near water, you'll sink like a rock!" Megumi scolded.

Soul Reapers couldn't swim, and I knew that. I stood straight up, before fast walking towards our destination. "Hey, you okay?" Alyss asked, and I nodded.

After we finally arrived at the dorms, I just stared at the door. "Mono, you sure you're okay?" It was Phoenix, but her voice sounded far away. "Yeah..." I whispered, before turning around. "I'm gonna do some Soul Searches, and I'll be back at 7am, tell Kanagay I said this: try to find me and your stalker a** is gonna die." I smiled before sprinting away from the school, hoping over the gate, and finally arriving in town.

Now, let me explain what Soul Searches are. The Soul is what a Grim reaper hunts right? Wrong. Grim Reapers hunt human lifespans. It makes their own life span advance in a certain amount of time, so they can never die. But Soul Reapers hunt Souls, because they need them to survive. Basically, what I'm saying is that you have to trick and/or steal from a human into giving up their soul to you. In return, you must grant them one wish, and it will last for 1 week before they die. There are only two rules to the wishes.
