In this fanfic I imagine Jack as early twenties, and reader as early twenties. Though it is a self insert, so feel free to imagine otherwise.
This fic takes place in a fictional time line, meaning it does not follow the exact order of the Overwatch organization. Reader joined after the recall.
This being said, Jack nor Ana were not in the explosion in Switzerland, Gabe neither. Two separate people were commanding then, and will get their tribute. Jack, Ana and Gabe were soldiers at the time.
