Problems

I woke up on a Saturday morning. I woke up to the sun shining on my face and the sound of my parents arguing downstairs. I got up and walked to my 7 year old brother Anthony's room. He was still sleeping so I quietly closed his door. I made my way downstairs to the kitchen. Once my parents seen me they stopped talking. My dad grabbed a piece of fruit and walked out the house, slamming the door behind him. We heard his car turn on and he drove off.
Mariana:What's the matter with him?
Mom:Same as usual, arguing over silly things.
Mariana:I'm not surprised.
Mom:Well I have to go to work, here is $65 go out with your brother or buy food. I'll see you later.
Mariana:Okay, bye Mom love you.
Mom:Love you too.
She left to work. I wanted to get out with my brother for once to enjoy ourselves. I took a quick shower. I put on a plain black tank top and shorts with my white adidas shoes. I put my hair into two Dutch braids. I entered his room.
Mariana:Good morning baby, want to go out today?
Anthony:Yeah, I'm tired of being home.
Mariana:Alright, well mom left some money. Let's go out for breakfast and then we can go to the beach for a while.
Anthony:Okay, sounds good.
I waited for Anthony to get ready meanwhile I asked my best friend Catalina if she wanted to join us. She lived right across from me. She came over a while later with her two little sisters.
Cat:Hey Mariana, have you heard about last night with the neighbor?
Mariana:What? You mean Adi?
Cat:Yeah, he got involved with the police again. Something about drugs but I'm not sure.
Mariana:Ooh, well I have my own problems to deal with. I don't pay much attention to him.
Cat:Alright then. Well let's go.
We ate and right after we walked to the beach. It was kind of dead because it was about to be 11am. I watched my brother play in the water with Cat's sisters as we sat on the sand.
Cat:Wow, what a coincidence. Adi is coming this way.
I turned to see him in nothing but shorts. He was holding a little girl which I assumed what his sister. She looked like she was 2 to 3 years old. He smiled at Cat and sat right next to her...
