Nick's P.O.V

"Okay class, lets try this technique." Professor Pellenium said. "I'll need a volunteer, how about you Nick?" He asked.

"Okay. Lets give this a try." I replied.

"Who will face him?" Everyone stepped back.

"I'll do it!" Someone shouted from the back, waving their hands wildly and quickly breaking through the crowd.

"Ah, yes. Young Isaac." The professor said, as the boy walked up.

Isaac is a wizard, Galatea opened up to most magical creatures now. It's still mostly Fairies but we have a few new students. He was a new student this year.

"So boys, what I need you to do, is to use this distraction technique and take out your competitor. Now don't go easy on each other, there is the protection spell in the arena that save you physically from opponent attacks." He added.

"Yes, professor." We both replied, going to our corners of the arena.

Everyone else stood behind the transparent barrier. The arena appeared to have no roof or really walls at all, but everything was transparent.

"Okay boys, get ready." The professor instructed.

I looked over to Isaac, he was a small boy with short dark hair and light skin, he wore a robe that looked the slightest bit too big but overall he was a nice kid. I met him on the orientation day, he will make a fine young wizard one day, once he gets his eyes checked anyways. He wears large dark framed glasses, I sometimes wonder if they are just for look.

"MAGIC WINX, AURIX!" I shouted transforming.

"This is why I didn't face him, I've never seen magic like that before." A voice whispered to another.

"C'mon now, give Isaac a chance." The professor boasted to the girls behind him. "Ready? Ok and start!" He shouted, raising his hand and throwing it down.

I immediately went for the sky, as I can fly and he can't. However he had his wand that he was digging for in his robe.

"SHIMMERING SHELLS!" I shouted.
All of a sudden, rays of light started to shine and a few of them starting to impact Isaac. He tried to dodge them but tripped over his robe.

"SOLAR PRISM!" I shouted, encasing him in a box of pure light. Everyone stared as he was pounding on the inside walls of it.

"Finish him off!" A voice exclaimed from the crowd.

"LIGHT SPECTRUM!" I shouted as the bow of light and light arrows appeared. I shot at the box until it exploded in a brilliant beam light reaction. Isaac dropped to the floor and I flew over to him.

"Are you okay?" I asked helping him up.

"Ya, I'm fine. Just a little dizzy." He replied.

I picked him up and flew him out of the arena and to the bench with the other fairies in the class.

"Splendid work, as always." The professor said to me.

"I'm so sorry professor." Isaac explained.

"No need to be, you most likely won't encounter magic this strong in the real world." He replied.

"Maybe you could help me with my magic skills sometime?" Isaac asked.

"I would be delighted to." The professor said proudly.

"I wasn't asking you, I was asking him." Isaac replied.

"Who me?" I asked, looking back over at him.

"Yes, you obviously know your stuff and I want to be just as strong as you one day." He told me.

"Sure." I said, looking over as Isaac came over and gave me a hug.

"Thank you." He said to me quietly, hugging me, well my legs anyways.
