A Fairy's Tale 5: A Magical Adventure

Chapter 11

Alexis's P.O.V

The morning of the Princess Ball, we were all tuckered out from the hike yesterday. It was worth it to see that view though. By the time all of us got up, it was around 11, the ball started at 4 and I was performing at 6. Have to get our butts in gear.

"Is everyone getting ready. We have to be downstairs in like fifteen minutes!" Nick reminded us.

"Almost." Dove said, applying her make up and putting on her shoes.

She came out of the room and wow, she really out done herself. She was wearing a nice light green lace dress, it was strapless and went to about floor length. Her shoes were nice white heels, about 4 inches tall and had lace embroidery on them. She had a necklace that Nick had gotten her a few years ago, it was a heart shaped locket, inside was a picture of the two of them from their trip to Lynphea. She wore he hair down, and parted to one side. It was straightened and she put some product in it to keep it from frizzing and it made her hair glow just a bit.

"Here I come, don't laugh!" Michaela said, shooting Josh a look.

Michaela was wearing a nice one shoulder dress, it was about knee length and was a nice deep lilac, with a black skinny belt around her waist. Her hair was in an up-do and he had her curled bangs hanging down the side of her face. She too was wearing a necklace but hers was a nice diamond necklace that belonged to her grandmother. She had those amazing Louie Velon shoes, they were the same colour as her dress and weren't that tall but tall enough for her liking, they even had little bows on the toe.

Now, Nick was a guy. But wow, he could out dress a girl any day. He came out of his room, wearing a nice white suit, with tie and pocket square to match Dove's dress colour. He had his hair swooped as usual, but it looked like a deeper red than usual. Since he wasn't the most tanned, his deep blue eyes glowed against his skin in contrast with his red hair.

Josh had a simple ensemble on, he was wearing a regular suit, with a black shirt, and a tie to match Michaela's dress. He always wore his hair funny, like spiked or something crazy.

Dove had designed my dress for me, as I couldn't seem to find one that I liked. I was wearing a double strapped, backless dress that laced up in the back and went to about floor length and jetted out a bit towards the bottom. It was a nice deep blue. She somehow convinced me to curl my hair and lighten it up to a chocolate mousse colour, as she calls it. So I wore it curled and to one side. I wasn't wearing a lot of makeup, or really any at all but some. My shoes were very nice, comfortable small wedges that were black with little jewelled parts to them.

Matt was, in my opinion, dressed very nicely. He had a dress shirt and blazer on that were a nice soft material. He had a nice coloured bow tie on that matched my dress. He was wearing dress pants and dress shoes and had his short brown hair in a sort of spiked style. He also had a little square stud in his ear. He had his one ear pierced and usually didn't wear anything in it.

"So everyone, are you just about ready?" Isabelle asked, knocking on the door.

"Yep, down in a few minutes." I said.

I wasn't showing it, but I was bursting with excitement.

We started out of the room and down the stairs. As we walked down the stairs, the ballroom opened up, there were tons of people. We walked down together, Matt and I, Nick and Dove, and Josh and Michaela. As we walked down, the baron announced us.

"Presenting Dove of Lynphea, accompanied by Nicholas of Earth, Fairies of Nature and Light."

"Michaela of Earth, Fairy of Justice, and Josh of Eraklyon."

"Alexis of Earth, Fairy of Music, and Matthew of Eraklyon."

"Your Guardian specialists and Guardian Fairies of the Magic Dimension." He announced as the crowd cheered, the Kings and Queens even bowed before us.
