Guess who's birthday it is? Our favorite horse! (Sorry not sorry) But seriously, it's Jean's birthday, so I decided to make a special birthday-themed lemon for him.
Jean and I had been dating for almost a year, and we had yet to do anything more intimate than making out on the couch for a few minutes. That was changing today.
He didn't know it yet, but I had a special plan for his birthday.
I think you can figure out what that means on your own, I'm not going to spell it out for you.
Anyways....
I had made us dinner and baked him a cake, and I'm proud to say I didn't burn anything. The only issue was what to wear. I didn't own anything fancy or sexy. Call me lame, but I've never had sex before. I wasn't prepared for this!
Thankfully, Jean didn't seem like the kind of guy that cared about what I wore. Which was good, since I decided on a cute woollen grey sweet, a pair of skinny jeans, and simple, plain gray undergarments. My face flushed red as I stood, looking at myself in the reflection of the mirror. Was I really going to do this? I'd probably chicken out and end up watching a movie with him instead, or something lame like that. I always had been a bit of a coward, after all.
Knock knock knock.
My focused instantly shifted to the sound of my boyfriend knocking, and I forgot all about how nervous I was. A huge grin grew on my face, and I ran to open the door.
Knock knock knock.
"Calm down, I'm coming!" I said, unlocking the door and flinging it open. Before he could say anything I jumped into his arms and hugged him, giggling as he spun me around in a circle. His warm arms made me feel safe protected.
"Hey, (Y/n)...chill out," he laughed, prying me off once he had enough of my squeezing his waist. "I'm not going anywhere if you let go!"
"I know," I said, taking a deep breath through my nostrils. He smelt amazing, just like always. I loved him so much if physically hurt.
I stepped back, looking him up and down. He was wearing the same thing he always wore: plain denim jeans, a casual green t-shirt, and his gray jacket over it. He wasn't one to change things up...not like I minded, though. He was perfect just the way he was.
"Come in," I said with a breathless giggle, realizing I had been staring a bit too intently. His cheeks had flushed pink, and he was scratching at the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Uh, thanks," he said, and I shut the door behind him as he walking into my house. Hopefully, some day, he could move in with me.
"Happy birthday, by the way," I said, walking behind him. "Is there anything you want to do after we eat? I baked you a cake!"
He smiled at me from over his shoulder. "I dunno, I guess we could just hang out here. I don't have anything special planned."
I knew it. Perfect.
"Oh, okay," I said, trying to sound as casual as I could. "That sounds fine. Would you like to eat now, before our food gets cold?" I asked innocently. Before, I was so nervous I was almost shaking. Now, I was feeling totally fine. It was only natural that we'd do it, right?
We were in love, after all.
"Sounds good," he said with a smile.
Just wait until after dinner, mister.
- time skip to after dinner -
"That was amazing, (Y/n)!" He exclaimed after finish his last bite. "Seriously, it was perfect. I didn't even know you could cook without turning the food into charcoal," he teased, his honey brown eyes glinting with amusement. I elbowed him playfully.
