MEETING BY CHANCE (Part I)

CHAPTER 2

Whhhaaaaaa!

It's 9:06!!! The first day I was transferring schools and I was late!

If it wasn't for yesterday's blog wars on the 3 hottest guys at my new school, I wouldn't have woken up so late!

I rubbed my eyes, yawning, familiarizing myself with the new atmosphere, while riding my cute pink bunny car, racing to get to school. As long as I could get over the "Three Kings" bridge, I could get to her school on the other side of the lake! Three Kings School, named for the 3 hottest and richest guys going there. But...why would there be a group of people blocking my path?!?

Up front, there was a crowd of students wearing tan coats. Some were carrying video cameras, others were holding wireless microphones, and others were taking notes furiously...

They were crowded around a Bugatti Veyron (Wow! The most expensive car in the world!) and their faces and bodies were glued to the car's windows. Some were standing in front of the car, and others who weren't afraid of death were even on the car roof! Looking at them like that, they were like a group of ants swarming for bread!

So scary! What were they doing? Interviewing a movie star? Weird...

I just stuck her head out the car window, when a pink paper airplane struck my forehead and then floated to the ground. Wha? I looked around and saw brightly colored paper planes flying everywhere! Yellow ones, purple ones, green ones, pink ones, blue ones...so many, like butterflies!

"Jayden! I love you! I've already taken my entire life to love you! If you leave me, what will I do?!?" A girl's shriek pierced the cloudy skies, causing the bunny dolls hanging in the front of my car to shake back and forth.

I looked up at the sky...

And saw a small blue helicopter flying about 30 feet above the bridge. The door was open, and a girl in a tan jacket was sitting on the edge, crying while throwing paper airplanes into the air.

This...were they filming a movie?!?

Just as I was confused, another blue paper airplane flew towards me. I carefully grabbed and a line of capitalized letters appeared.

JAYDEN! I LIKE YOU! LEAH ANNE KATE LIKES YOU!

Jayden? Such a familiar name...I scratched her head. Where had I heard that name...

"Jayden, Jayden..." The girl continued to throw paper airplanes, and yelled with a hoarse voice, "Jayden, please don't leave me..."

"Come out!"

"Get out here!"

"Jayden, hurry and get out here!"

The "ants" carrying microphones and video cameras repeatedly hit the Bugatti's windows, trying to force "Jayden" off the car. Watching the messy scene in front of me, my eyebrows furrowed. What the heck? How was I supposed to get across the bridge to my school?!? Why was my luck so bad??

At this time, the Bugatti's door suddenly opened, making the "ants" in front of the door fly out far. Then, a pair of jean-clad legs appeared...

All the "ants" around the car stood into a line with lightning speed, and the girl in the helicopter stopped crying, her eyes stuck on the feet outside the car.

There was a sudden pressure in th air that cause me to hold my breath, waiting.

And under the scrutiny of so many people, a guy wearing a tan coat and a blue baseball cap stepped out of the car. His tall muscular body exuded royalty like elegance and confidence, so that even if they hadn't seen his face, people couldn't move their eyes away.

His back to the car, he lifted his head and he spoke, his voice as pleasant sounding and smooth as a stream.

"You went against the rules. We're over." His voice was so amazing, like it could attract everything, and like it could destroy everything.

Sitting inside my car, my face suddenly turned red, and my heart started thumping irregularly.

The girl on the helicopter covered her face and screamed, "No! If Jayden doesn't want me anymore, then I don't want to live!"

The paper airplanes floated and floated in the air, taking the girl's love, taking her deep liking. But in the end, they either fell onto the bridge, or into the lake. The boy didn't talk, and after a while of silence, he looked at me.

Then, under everyone's surprised glances, he walked quickly toward me, his shoes stepping on the paper airplanes. My right eyelid started to twitch, and the closer the boy got, the more quickly it would twitch. Uh oh. Looks like something bad was going to happen.

The boy suddenly stuck his head in my open car window, and asked me a question that nearly made me have a heart attack and die.

Haha XD I'm just gonna stop here for now. My brain's tired, and it's a good cliff hanger XD guess whats gonna happen! :D
