CHAPTER TWO
The next day had come around much to the pleasure of Kristina. She couldn't comprehend the ongoings of the day before to do with Elena's transition and how she had fed to complete the process of becoming a vampire. Tyler had returned to his body and Kristina didn't realise how much she missed being with him until she wound up in his bed twenty four hours later. Besides, she needed the distraction even if they weren't officially together again. Her heavy breathes filled the room as Tyler kissed her passionately.
"This is wrong." She announced as she pushed him off "A bunch of people died and we're having sex."
Tyler frowned "Grief sex. It's healthy."
Kristina's brown eyes met his matching ones "It's selfish."
"It's natural." Tyler smiled "Besides, if we stopped having sex every time somebody died in this town, we'd explode." He reached over and kissed her again to which she did not denied.
"We need to be more sensitive." Kristina tried. Tyler ran his hand across her bare stomach and giggled "Tyler."
"Oh, come on. It's been too long since I've been able to touch you and kiss you...I still love you. How's that for sensitive." They both shared a moment and Kristina sat up a little.
Kristina smiled not being able to say it in return but she didn't know why, they weren't officially back together but she still cared for him. But more than friends was a question she couldn't decide the answer to after everything that happened. The doorbell rang interrupting her thoughts.
"Who the hell is that? Stay here, I'll be right back." He pecked her lips as he put on his shirt and took off down the stairs, leaving the werewolf girl half naked and left alone with her thoughts.
Kristina knew she would and always will love Tyler, knowing he was dead and then miraculously being brought back to life was enough to make her see that sure enough, even if it was just as a friend. But deep down she couldn't forget the fact that he did leave her for Caroline and when she thought it was him that came to her rescue, it still wasn't. It was Klaus. She was stuck in the middle of everything with no way out and she didn't know how to escape. The werewolf was brought out of her thoughts when she heard gunshots being fired from downstairs, she grabbed whatever was closest to cover herself before running down the stairs to find Carol Lockwood with a devastated look and blood spread across the floor.

Tyler grunted as Stefan pulled out the bullets from inside of his abdomen. Tyler had somehow managed to escape the psycho man that shot him and made it to the Salvatore boarding house.
"Please tell me that's the last one." Kristina hoped.
Stefan began to inspect the wooden bullet with a pair of tweezers "These were specially carved. The length, the width. If you were a normal vampire, you would be dead."
