My Break

Lucy's P.O.V

When we got in Fiore we decided to take a small break. We would have a small little party at night. I got excited! They said it would be right by the beach and I got even more excited! We would be by a fire enjoying good food. Mirajane caught my attention.

Mirajane: Lucy? Earth to Lucy? Its time to go.

I get startled, but then turn to get out the boat and to land. As I walk to the exit I realized Natsu coming over to me. 

Natsu: Ready to have a little celebration?

Lucy: yep!

We finally arrive on land and I get excited. Everyone starts to collect sticks for the fire for tonight. I help with the cooking with Elfman and Mira. 

Elfman: Only a real man can cook!

Mira: Women can cook too! You are working with two.

I giggle and start getting the pots and pans.

Lucy: What will we make?

Mira: Hmm..What about some cookies!?

Lucy: Thats nice Mira, but what about..ummm well food...not dessert.

Elfman: I know! Lasagna!

Mira starts to laugh, but I then get reminded of Lisanna.

Mira: Lucy its ok thats why we said Lasagna. To remeber her. We use to tease her about it all the time. It would be the perfect food for today. She would have loved to meet you.

I smile and we get to cooking Lasagna and Mira gets to baking cookies. It gets dark and the sticks for the fire is ready. Everyone has a rock or log to sit on by the fire. After I am done with the food I place it down by Mira's cookies. I go to sit by the water. My toes touch the sand and then the water. I watch quietly.

Natsu: Hey Luce..

I turn to see Natsu. He sits next to me and puts his arm around me.

Lucy: Hey Natsu.

Natsu: Lucy, it really has been a long ride, but I want you to know that our adventure will never end. You are very important. From the day I saw you in my room to right now. I knew something was great about you. I want you to know that I will protect you.

I start to blush while looking into Natsu's eyes.

Lucy: Natsu..

Natsu: Lucy..

He touches my cheek and then grabs me. We are very close and I close my eyes. His lips pressed against mine. I was so happy, I finally had everything I wanted and what I was searching for, happiness. After a few seconds we broke the kiss. I put my head on his shoulder and he put his arm on my shoulder. We watched the waves and then I remember what to ask him.

Lucy: Hey Natsu?

Natsu: Yea Luce?

Lucy: Was I the person you were talking about back in Hargeon while we ate icecream? 

I giggled while he smirked.

Natsu: You got it..

We cuddled for a bit longer untill once again we heard another scream, but it was more like a sentence.

Mira: MY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIP!!!!! I KNEW IT LUCY!!!!

I see Mira waving over to me and Natsu. I realized she probably had seen the whole thing. another thing I realized was that everyone was looking at us. I blushed a little, but then Natsu stood up. he held out his hand.

Natsu: Ready to start our celebration?

I nodded in excitement.

Natsu used his fire magic to make the fire. We all sat around the fire eating Lasagna and cookies. I was sitting next to Natsu and Wendy. Wendy was sitting next to Levy. Levy was sitting next to Gajeel. *ohhhhh* I thought. Gajeel was sitting next to Jellal. Jellal was sitting next to Erza. Erza was sitting next to Laxus and Laxus was sitting next to Mirajane. Maybe I could tease about that to her later. Mira was sitting next to Elfman while Elfman sat next to Evergreen. Thats interesting I had never seen them together. Evergreen sat next to Juvia while Juvia sat nexy Gray, of course. Then Gray sat next to Natsu. It was a fun night and I was glad I got to hang out with Natsu. I teased Mirajane about Laxus and of course she blushed. After everyone fell asleep I went back to the water. It was a big part of my journey. I then feel someone's hand intertwine with mine. I look over to see Natsu.

Natsu: I love you Luce

Lucy: I love you too.

We held hands standing in the water untill we got tired of looking at the stars and the ocean. This was definitely not the end of my adventure.
