Because I have been stalking her profile for a while now and because the ingenuity of the concept and the foundation in this story just blows my mind. Character development and phrasing was on point.
This is extremely good work. I'm glad I found this. Ohmygod.

Four cells. Four teenagers.
Everything has been ripped away from them. Their families, their homes, their friends, their freedom.
Yet one thing has been nailed to their chests.The one thing that ruined them in the time it took for the van to swerve around the corner and catch up to her, for the men to come running with their loaded guns aimed at him.
But that one thing may also be what leads them to salvation.
In the end, it all comes down to what these four are capable of - what's simmering beneath the fear and reluctance and pain. And when worst comes to worst and all that compressed emotion bubbles to the surface, they do what all teenagers seem to do:
Make a mess of things.
