"Yep." I answered. I didn't want her knowing about the vampire king, Kayne. If he had learned about her he would probably do something to hurt her. Leon growled at that thought.

"There is also a King!" Lenny smiled proudly.

"Lenny!" Diana, Tom, and Connor exclaimed.

I growled lightly. "Kay, love, Maybe you should go and hang out with Kai and Layla for a while."

"No." She told me sternly, "I want to know about this 'Vampire King'."

"Sorry, but no." I told her bluntly flipping through the book again.

Kayne and I have bad history. He kidnapped my closest friend, Kenneth. Kenneth was more of a brother to Kai and I than a friend. He isn't into girls so he was bullied a lot and zkai and I took him under our wings being his friemds and protecting him. The werewolves don't know why Kayne chose to kidnapped only Kenneth, but they had stopped communicating with the wolves afterwards. We sent wolves to get Ken back, but they all were murdered. You're probably thinking Ken can get himself out of this mess, but he can't. He isn't a normal werewolf. He's weaker than us, but that is only because he was in a car accident as a kid and it messed up some nerves in his arms, hands, and left leg. Sometimes, it hard for him to even phase.

Well, The kidnapping is what started the fued. Kenneth had been kidnapped when he turned fifteen. That was almost two years ago.

"What's his name?" She asked by this time her family had aimlessly wondered into the living room. Lenny and Connor pleading to be able to go on trips again. It broke my heart I'd have to keep something from her that she deeply wants to learn about.

"Don't pry on this, Kay." I told her shaking my head slightly. I couldn't afford to let her get hurt.

"You know it's hard to be in a relationship with someone who keeps things from you, right?" She mumbled upset. She turned to walk to the living room.

"I'm going to head home." I told her, "call when you want to come back unless you want to crash here tonight."

She nodded as she walked all the way into the living room. I sighed and stood up walking to my car.

I started the car and headed home. When I got there, Leon wanted control for a while, but I didn't feel like running around the woods as a wolf so I let him have control in our human form.

I gave him control of our body as we walked into the house. I smelt the all too familiar smell of Kai's cakes.

He. Is. The. Best. Chef. Ever.

I smile as I walk into the kitchen seeing him and Layla. "Hey, Layla. How are your parents on the whole mated to a werewolf thing?"

She shrugged, "I don't know nor do I care."

Kai smiled taking her hand in his. "Oh, by the way, you get to go to school tomorrow." He smiled at her, "All I have to do is send in your paperwork tonight."

I slouch a bit. Kay still doesn't want to go to school with me. It kinda hurts a bit.

I mean why doesn't she? It's not like I'm asking her to move from California to New York.

She'd still be able to see her friends.

I sighed as Kay walked into the house.

"Can we have a game night?" She asked smiling. I smiled at her.

"Sounds fun!" Layla smiled her evil smile.

Kai and I looked at each other as Layla suggested T or D.

This is going to be interesting.

"He'll yea." Kai and I exclaimed at once as we walk to the living room.

Sorry it's so short. I had typed it up then my friend deleted it trying to take my phone from me. I planed on updating yesterday so here it is now.
