The midnight light burned low as it illuminated the figure of a young lady dressed in an innocent white night gown. She was on her knees, hands clasped together as she silently said her prayers.

"—and Thank you for giving me wonderful parents who take care of me well. I may not be their real daughter but they love just as much."

After finishing her prayers, she quietly got on her feet and tucked herself in her comfy bed. It was a tiring night after a work of getting water from the town to their small house in the wilderness but still it was a thankful day for being alive.

She closed her eyes to sleep and finally, she found herself in a slumber.

Red eyes emitted in the dark.

The figure loomed in the darkness as it watched the young lady in white.

In his eyes, her skin was glowing indicating that the young woman is a virgin.

Slowly, he stepped his way out of the shadows and what is revealed to be a young man with tousled brown hair. He had a black tail and a pair of dark wings. His eyes were glowing red and yet, even with such demonic features, he still looked mesmerizing.

An incubus.

"Very innocent. Very delicious," it whispered. A devilish smirk formed from the incubus mouth.

"Tomorrow, my little rabbit. I will devour you in your sleep."

Then he vanished.
