It was a beautiful park. Children were running around. Their faces were so radiant and bright, huge grins spread across their innocent faces. Some parents were shouting at their kids to be careful around the swings.
"Arghh!" with a loud thump he crashed to the ground and fell flat on his stomach.
"Not again! " He cried holding his badly hurt and bleeding knee.
"C'mon, Stone.You're such a cry baby". A 14 year old boy mocked.
"Shut up and leave him alone Brian! " Mark came to his best friend's rescue.
"Let's go guys, the cop's son is here for his princess's rescue, let's run before he puts us all in prison for hurting his cry baby ". Brian laughed and ran away with a bunch of kids yelling "gay guys".
"I'm fine". The 13 year old Coran grunted.
"Are you okay? " The boy looked up to see a pretty blonde girl with big blue eyes, stretching her hand out to him.
He took her hand mesmerized and stuttered, "Uh, yeah I am fine".
"No, you're not!" Mark exclaimed.
"Your friend is right, your knee is bleeding. Here, let me fix it ".
She crouched down and wrapped her hankie around his knee.
"Now, you're good to go". She chimed.
"Tha..Thank... Thank you ".
Coran said sheepishly.
Mark nudged him in the shoulder earning a death glare from his beloved friend.
"Ah.. What's your-
"Serena, sweety it's time to go".
"Coming, mommy ". She waved them goodbye and ran away.
"Serena". Coran mumbled under his breath and smiled.
