The Dragon Stones {Completed}

|~|Chapter TWENTY-NINE|~|

I spin around, facing him

"Nice to see you again, dad." I reply, my face not giving anything away.
"Now that your back, give me that relic." He says, comming closer to me.
"Didn't that thing tell you anything?" I ask, taking a step back
"U mean the demon girl? She never came back." He says
"I don't have your relic." I spat.

His face suddently turn cold and impossible to read.

"What do you mean?" He asks.
"I didn't kill him! And I'm not going to!" I yell.

I feel Aaron's hand grasp mine. I take a deep breath and look at my dad straight in the eye.

"Who is that?" He snaps, motioning Aaron.
"This is... Aaron."

His cold face turned to a shocked one. But in his eyes were full of anger.

"How dare you betray me! Instead of killing him, you develop feelings for him?!" He shouts.

I close my eyes, waiting for him to hit me, or shout some more.

"Well, since you wont kill him, I'll just have to."

I open my eyes and to my suprise, he had blue dragon wings and blue dragon ears.

"W-what?" I stutter, shocked
"Where do you think you got your stone from?" He asks "There were only two stones in the world, and there could only be two."
"What are you saying...?"
"I had to kill your mother! She didn't understand your destiny! I knew having more than two dragon stones would only cause Mischief!" He exclaims

I feel my blood turn to ice. He was the one that killed her?!

"Either way, you wouldn't be able to kill me." Aaron replies "I have a relic."
"Oh I know you do." He replies, his eyes gleaming. "Stones have more power than a stupid relic."

He looks at me with a smirk on his face.

"Watch out!"

I turn around to see a magical blast aiming straight for us. I close my eyes, waiting for the impact that never came. I open my eyes to find a red forcefield surrounding me and Aaron. My dad looks behind us, clearly pissed.

"Who are you?!" My dad yells.

Alaska walked throught the mist of the blast.

"Alaska White. Meif'wa guardian." She introduces herself politely. "I would ask of you to not hurt my friends, or it will lead me to hurting you."

Dad laughs

"What makes you think a meif'wa can defeat a stone welder?" He asks
"What makes you think you can win with 3 against 1?" She replies

The forcefield around us dissapears and I take out my dragon ears and wings.

"This battle can be avoided if you just leave us alone." Aaron says, looking at him. "You know you can't win. You know how strong your daughter is, you trained her yourself!"

He looks at me, doubt peircing his glaze.

"Your all I have left." He wispers

I stare at him. Does he actually care about me?

"Fine. You win. I'll leave you alone." He says, turning around and walking away.

I watch him walk a couple of steps before calling;

"What happened to the village?"

He stops at his tracks.

"Zane."

At that note, he dashes into the trees.

"Is it really over?" I ask
"Yes. It is" Aaron responds

I sight deeply and lean on him. He wraps his arm around me and kisses my head.

"Awww! You two are too cute!"

A blush appeared on my face and I pulled away.

"What now?" I ask, looking at Aaron.

I gives me a smile amd takes my hand.

"Follow me."

He leads me towards the woods, Alaska at our heels.

"Where..... are we?"

We arrived at an old deserted village.

"This is Falcon Claw. The vilage was wiped out by shadow knights a couple of years ago." He explains.
"Why did you bring me here?" I ask, looking at him
"I wanted to ask you... if you wanted to raise a village, with me."

I stare at him, not believing my ears.

"You want me, to raise a village, with you?"
"Well, only if you want to. I know you've been through alot today and--"

I cut him off by putting my lips on his.

"Of course I will." I breath.

I stop and stare into his eyes. At that moment I knew.

My stone is what brought us together.

It is not a curse

But a blessing.

Ooooo my goodddnneeessss. I'm technically done the book! Wow! The next chapter is going to be an Epilogue which, most of you know what's going to happen if you watch MCD. Well, see you in the next chapter!
