Christmas

Oh, Christmas. A time of year you spend with family handing out boxes full of forgiveness, wrapped in the prettiest of pink wrapping paper covered in the words said from their sour mouths just days before. Finished off with a bow to hold everything together including your own sanity. A season claimed to be filled with happiness. But every time I think about some overweight guy in a red suit sneaking into this broken home with a huge sack filled with lies and cover ups, i just want to wrap the red and green tinsel around my pretty little throat and hang myself from the mistletoe. I shall be placed apon the tree ever so neatly to cover up the slow decay growing from within. I'll dress up in the prettiest long dress to cover up the fresh cuts layed apon my wrist of another failed attempt and put on the nicest of makeup to become the porcelain figure they all expect to see. I'll starve myself thin to make sure I don't break the branch I will be hung upon. Just to be forgotten the day after.
