10. My life goes on.

TAEHYUNG's POV

I stay, lying down on the hospital bed thinking about (y/n). I haven't seen her for almost a month and I MISS her so much. Ever since she said she just wanted space, I gave it to her, but before everything even happened, I found out I had Cancer, Lung Cancer to be exact.

Probably wondering how I got it. Well because my father smoked at lot. He had, a smoking addiction. I didn't really care much though, I didn't know I would actually end up like this.

I cried in my room after throwing up blood, my mom bringing me to the hospital a little while after. The doctor said I was a stage two, but if I don't get treatment now I'd get worse.

I left (y/n) without saying goodbye and it hurts me so much hearing from the boys about what is happening about her. Yes, Namjoon, Yoongi, Jin, Jimin, Jhope, and Jungkook knows about my condition. I told Jin, Yoongi, and Namjoon to be cold to her that day so that she wouldn't suspect much and she won't sense their pity for her.

I told Jimin to tell her that he likes her just incase she falls for him too, just so that she wouldn't look for me. But hearing that it didn't work, I told Jimin and Jungkook to stay with her and take care of her. I don't want her finding out that I'm sick and that I have a 50% chance of dying (in about a year or so).

I hate lying to her. I just want to tell her EVERYTHING! But I don't want her hurt. I know that leaving her without warning hurts too but... I just can't find another way.

I lie here in my hospital bed folding paper cranes or read books I've already read when I'm bored. I try my absolute best not to think about her and just focus on what I'm doing and what I have to go through.

I was almost done folding the crane, when suddenly the door opened. Jin and the rest except for Jungkook came in. I looked at them almost about to cry remembering (y/n). They looked at me in pity and went straight towards me.

"Jungkook is with (y/n), Taehyung. He texted us and said that she's been crying, he said that she possibly won't go to school for a long time, feeling depressed of not seeing you." Jin spoke up with a little sadness in his tone.

"Taehyung, we can't keep lying to (y/n). She has to know, sooner or later, or depression will eat her up." Namjoon said. We all stayed silent, the beeping of the heart monitor being the only sound we hear. I finally decided, telling the boys to tell Jungkook to bring (y/n) here.

Jimin called Jungkook and told him to bring (y/n) to the hospital, Jungkooks words seemed worried and excited at the same time but he had no choice. He agreed and said he'll take (y/n) around first.

I layed down there listening to the others about (y/n). I miss her so much I want to cry. I just want to see her again...
