A New Love

The beginning

I hopped out of my car and walked straight into my new school. It was a total refresh; new school, new class, new students and new friends - hopefully. Once I got to the entrance I saw the longest line-up I've ever seen! I wasn't sure about what all these people were lined up for, but for sure it was important, so I placed myslef in the end of the line.

It took a very long time to get in front of the line, but when I got there it was a check-in-table.

"Write your first- and last name here" a tedious lady said to me. I took the pencil, which was placed on the paper, and wrote my name in the end of the list. "I guess you're new here" the lady said and looked me up and down. "Yeah" I said and hoped she would just let me go soon. "Here's your schedule" she said and handed over a sheet of paper. "Thanks" I said and almost ran away from the line.

I looked back to the table as I went away to find my classroom, and when I turned my head forward again I ran into a boy who seemed to be older then me. He looked at me with his blue-green eyes and I thought he thought that I was dumb or something, because I didn't Watch were I went.

"Hey! Watch out where you go, girl" he said and seemed angry. "I-I'm sorry" I said and rushed away. The guy just sighed and continued his trip to his class.

When I headed to my classroom I was allready late. *Great, I'm late allready at the first day, good impression I may have now..* I thought as I opened the door.

"Hello, you must be Katie Jones?" The woman in the front of the classroom said. "Yes, that's me" I said and started to look for a place to sit. "You can sit here!" I Heard someone shout from somewhere in the classroom. I looked around, to at last find a girl who waved her hands wildly in the air. I smiled at her and went to the seat next to her.

Suddenly it was time for lunch. Me and my new friend, Amber, went to the dining room and took a seat after we had grabbed something to eat.

Soon the guy, which I bumped into earlier in the morning, came to our table. "Hi, sweety" he whispered in my ear and grabbed me around my shoulders. I got a bit scared, but did my best to stay calm. He sat down behind me 'cause there was some space left behind me at the bench I was sitting on. Amber looked like a living question mark, I just felt my cheeks were fire-red, this just felt so awkward..

                                                                                                                                                                

It was 7pm, someone knocked on the door. I went downstairs to face my brother and the guy from the school. "Who is this?" my brother said and gave me a questioningly gaze. I just stopped three steps from the bottom floor. "Just some guy from the school" I quickly replied and hoped he wouldn't ask me something more. But I was wrong. "You want this guy here?" he asked and gave the other guy a gaze. I thought for a second before I replied. "Yeah, I'm cool with that" I said and slowly walked down the last steps of the stair. My brother went away with a strange look in his face. I heard him turn the TV on, but except of that it was quiet. "Want to come inside?" I shyly asked the guy. "No, I'm fine. I just came over to pick you up" he said. "Pick me up?" I asked and looked him in his beautiful blue-green eyes. "Yes, pic you up" he said and looked at me. "Where do you want to take me?" I asked and shyly looked down at the ground beneath our feet. "Well, I guess you've already've ate dinner-". He got interrupted in the middle of his sentence. "No, I haven't" I said and felt a bit ashamed because of have interrupted him. "Well, then let's grab some dinner" he said and smirked. "Uh, may I just change before we go?" I quickly said, more to get a reason to calm myself down a bit than I actually needed to change. "Sure, I'll be waiting in my car" he said and started to walk towards his car. I smiled and slowly closed the door.
