I sat down on the porch looking at my hands
"Dad."I looked at Raven
"A-Am I?"Raven bite her lip
"Y-Yes."I sighed
"Why are you here?"
"Your mine as I've said Shadow I came to take what's mine."
"I MIGHT BE LEGALLY YOURS BUT I'M NOT YOURS!!!"
"Y-"
"Stop wait wait."I looked over my shoulder at Denise. "If what you say is true Penny I can help you remember Shadow."I nodded
"Please."Denise sighed
"I need you to relax Shadow."I relaxed slowly "And breathe close your eyes."I sighed before taking in a breath and closing my eyes.I closed my eyes as images of Penny finding me and us at a bar and me getting wasted her asking my name and me responding with Shadow I saw us getting married and me disappearing after the wedding.My world came back to me.I looked at Penny.
"Divorce."
"God no."I nodded
"Yes."

"I'm glad you agree let's I'll drive."Penny tossed me the keys "Thanks Denise."Denise nodded looking at Penny with a strange look.I got in the car and sped off.Once we were at a great distance from the house I pulled over and looked at Penny. "Now why were you really here because even I know we didn't actually get married."Penny laughed
"I know that now I need your help."
"What's wrong?"
"Me and Chloe need you to protect a guy named Max he's running from a women name Victoria."
"Why?"
"He killed her mate."
"Why?"
"Because he killed his mate."
"Has he ever seen her before?"
"No."
"Why do I feel like they're going to be mates?"
"Close said the same thing but I just need to make sure he's alive."
"I got you."
"Chloe will deliver him tomorrow."I nodded turning the car around "Were getting married."
"Really?"
"Yes next week you have to come."
"Of course I will."
"Promise?"I pulled in my driveway
"I can't promise anything but I'll try."We both got out the car to hug each other.
"I guess that's all I can ask then."
"What do you else do expect I'm busy so the time?"
"I don't know as you said just try then."I nodes running into the house
"What were you going to try?"
"To see Chloe get married."
"Who's Chloe?"
"One of our friends."My clan gave me knowing looks."Oh were going to have a guest here tomorrow so be nice."
