The Devil In Me

There's a devil inside me
That thirsts for your tears
The more you cry, shout and beg
The more it is satisfied.
My heart loves you to death
My fingers yearn for your skin
But this damn devil
Makes me obsessed with sin.
Keep you by my side
Tie you up
Never let you see anything
That does not include me.
Your sadness hurts my heart
Your accusations sting
Your every smile binds me up
With everlasting chains of love.
There's a devil inside me
That keeps whispering
Words so seductive
Enough to make me lose my mind.
Take care not to leave
Cause that would make me crazy
I might just give in
And let darkness surround us.
Your love is like sunshine
Your scent like spring
Your eye sparkle just like
The amethysts in our ring.
The devil loves you as much as me
He loves the sparkle of your tears
And the texture of blood soaked skin.
He loves your hoarse voice as you whimper
Your throat aching from pain
He loves you lying on the bed
With no strength in your limbs.
Take care not to make me worry
Cause agitation is bad
The last chains that keep it locked
Might just end up being snapped.
The pure smile on your face
Makes me want to treasure it
But there is a devil deep in me
That's equally fascinated.
Such a thin line between
Tender and violent feelings
If the world separates us
It might be apocalypse.
