Disclaimer: I started this chapter about a month ago, when I hit 300 reads, and got about an eights of the way through. The next day, I went to open the draft, and Wattpad crashed. Now I'm starting over, because the draft was deleted. This chapter may be half-assed for the first part, due to me not remembering exactly what I wrote. I still hope you enjoy!
PHANTOM'S POV
I woke up due to a sudden light shining in my face, along with a soft breeze. I tried to hide my face in a pillow or something, but I had already been awake, so there was no use in trying to sleep in more. I opened my eyes, staring at the window that was almost exactly in front of me on the wall ahead. It was opened slightly, which confused me, since I didn't recall opening it. I decided to just leave it alone.
I let my eyes follow whatever was in the room, since I never really slept near the wall. Instead, I always slept near the edge of the bed, so I always was facing the room. I looked at the windows, then the walls, the desk, nightstand, bookshelves...anything I could lay my eyes on. I wasn't dozing back off, but I was lost in my thoughts for a while.
Getting tired of laying in the same position, and having light in my face, I rolled around so my back was to the bedroom. Cyko was beside me, still asleep under a practical mountain of blankets. I wasn't surprised that he was still sleeping, since he was a really heavy sleeper, and I was a really light sleeper, meaning I was always awake before him. I never forced him awake, but I would try to wake him up occasionally. I kept my eyes on him for a while. His hair was a mess, like always.
I tried going back to sleep again. Not surprisingly, it didn't work. I sighed softly to myself, and decided to try and wake Cyko up, since I was getting a little bored.
"Cyko," I mumbled, brushing some hair out of his face. "Wake up.."
He didn't, but I wasn't surprised. I held one of his shoulders, shaking him lightly. Eventually, his eyes opened a bit. "What?" He muttered, his voice tired and slightly raspy.
"You look dead," I replied, ignoring his question.
"Mm." He curled up against a pillow.
"You should get up soon, there's something I want to show you."
"I am up."
"I mean, like, up up." I sighed.
"But I'm tired."
"I know."
"I wanna go back to sleep."
"Later."
"That's too long."
"You can sleep in the car."
He whined, "Where are we even going?"
"I can't tell you."
"Aren't you intimidating." He remarked.
I eventually just sat up, staring at the door on the other side of the room. "...I'm gonna-"
"No," Cyko cut me off, grabbing onto my arm, "Why can't we just stay here all day?"
"...Because, I...Cant? Plus, I wanna show you something."
