Chapter 4: Egypt

"That's perfect! Thanks, Maddi!" Ginny squealed, going to pick hers up to carry it downstairs. She dropped it right away. "Oomph! That's a little heavier than I thought it would be." She looked at the trunk, then at me and smiled. I groaned, but placed the enlightenment charm on her trunk and on mine. I put my wand in my trunk and then we went to go outside, but our exit was blocked by someone. Or maybe it was two someones. I inwardly groaned.

Great.

"Busted," Fred sang.

"Look, what will it take to keep you two quiet?" Ginny asked.

They grinned at each other and looked back at us. "Can you do that for our stuff too?" They begged.

I looked at them in disbelief. That was it? I shrugged and trotted over to their room. Their beds and floor was covered with clothes and different prank items. I whipped out my wand and muttered the spell again and watched as the clothes flew in their correct places into the trunks. I then put the Enlightenment charm on them and then raced back into Ginny's room so we could grab our trunks and go downstairs to leave.

We took Floo powder to get there. As soon as we arrived, we met a tall, thin man who looked to be in his early twenties. He had his long, red hair in a pony-tail. He had an earring with a fang dangling from his right ear. He smiled at us as we came through and attacked the Weasley family with hugs and short conversation. Lastly, he came over to me, bent down to my height, and smiled.

"Hello. You must be Maddi. Am I right?" I nodded shyly and smiled. "I'm Bill. The oldest of the Weasley kids. Nice to meet you." He smiled one more time and went back over and started talking to Mr. Weasley. I didn't even notice that another man had entered the room. He also hugged all of the children. He came up to me and smiled.

He was short and stocky, and he had muscled arms. His hair was the same color red as all of the other Weasleys. His face looked weather beaten and there were so many freckles on his face that he looked tanned. His fingers were covered in calluses and blisters and his right arm had a large, shiny burn on it.

"Hi there. You must be Maddi. I've heard all about you. I'm Charlie." He smiled and held out his hand for me to shake.

"Nice to meet you." I smiled, being as polite as I could.

"Pleasure's all mine," he smirked and waddled over to Fred and George.

I already knew this was going to be a fun trip.
