(I am going to have this as either 3rd POV or 1st POV the entire time, just as a reminder, and the picture is just for fun-Friday the 13th, which I found out happens twice every year.

Percy and Annebeth were living in their house with no problems, Hestia had blessed them to make it so that monsters wouldn't be able to track or attack them in their house, but they still had to be careful when they left the safety of their property.

"Percy I'm going to go to the store" Annabeth said grabbing her coat and knife on the way to the door.

"Okay just be careful, and pick me up some more blue dye and blue sugar cookies too will you" Percy said from his room and Annabeth scoffed before saying "I will" and went out the front door, and when she was out Percy slowly stepped out of his room and quickly ran over the the couch doing a dive for the remote, but as soon as he closed his fingers around it. It disappeared from his grasp.

"ANNABETH!" Percy yelled and Annabeth snickered at what she did, she had cast an illusion on the couch and a couple of other places to make it look like the remote was on and in different places when it was really behind the TV in a little section of the wall that she had almost everything that she didn't want Percy having while she was gone.

I love him she thought before she pulled out her knife and ran along the road looking around her to make sure no monsters were following her, but one escaped her view and its giant form stood up and huffed watching her from where he was in the cow field.

"Now where is it this time" Percy thought as he stood in her room why are you always hiding my things Annabeth he swept her room thinking about how she liked to hide the TV remote, the Xbox, and the house computer. The phone was always in the living room for emergencies as well as a couple of Drachmas for camp-calling, but after a little while Percy gave up and decided to check on the camp. He went over the the little bowl on the counter and got a Drachma before using his water powers and making mist, and as soon as he saw a rainbow he tossed the Drachma in and the rainbow rippled before growing still and forming a portal.

"Show me Leo" Percy said thinking about how mad and surprised everyone was once they found out that Leo was alive after his little disappearance. He just flew into camp with Calypso like it was no big deal and got a couple of punches, slaps, and cuts before Percy accidentally knocked him out. When he woke up he told everyone about his adventure and finding Calypso on her Island and how he broke her out. The portal rippled a moment before it showed Leo in the forge demolishing a piece of metal with a hammer and one of his hands glowing a white hot.

Percy cleared his throat to get Leo's attention, but he didn't seem to notice, so he lifted a hand and the bucket of water next to him exploded. Percy loved doing that to him because every time it freaked him out and he jumped like a mile into the air, at first it startled Calypso too, but after a couple more times she got used to it and it became a normal thing. Leo jumped a mile into the air like last time, and his piece of hot metal fell onto the floor and burned through the piece of wood. Leo ran over and grabbed a fire extinguisher before looking around to see who did that, and then he looked up and tripped over a ball in shock.

"Hi Leo, I see that you are still as clumpsy as ever" Percy said as Leo slowly got up rubbing his  butt.

"I swear Percy you are going to have a burning butt someday for this" he said and Percy chuckled before sitting down on the couch. Leo got up, grabbed his piece of metal from where it was sticking in the wood of the floor and then he shrugged and put it on the thing again, what was it called a hammer, no a slamming stone, no an vile...oh an Anvil Percy felt dumb thinking about the stupid hammering object before watching Leo patiently as he put his tools away.

"What do you want Percy" Leo asked slightly annoyed

"Oh did I make the little fireball mad" Percy teased and Leo reddened a little "I just wanted to see how the camp was doing"

"Then why do you bother me, and not Jason, Piper, Hazel, or Nico" Leo whined

"One time I accidentally interrupted in on Hazels shower and I will never get that image out of my head, and then I interrupted on Piper and Jason's, um, session and I swiped through that quickly, but a little lightning storm came anyways and struck me while I was enjoying the rain, and I know that it was Jason's doing. Nico is always with Will and I don't want to get in between them, and Thalia...well lets just say that if I came in on her at the wrong time then I would have an arrow in my leg, or a couple the next week, oh and Frank is always moving and morphing, so it's kind of hard to stay focused while talking to him" Leo looked astonished before he shook his head and sighed.

"Well now's a bad time for me as well" he said and then swiped through the screen and Percy was left alone one the couch, once again. He lay down and decided to take a nap.

Annabeth was going through the store and then she felt something watching her, but when she looked around she didn't see anything. She finished shopping and then went to the front counter to pay, then she exited the store with her bags and started to walk back home. Her and Percy had decided to never get a car because they tended to kill more demigods than they did saver them. As she walked home that feeling wouldn't go away, so she shifted the four bags into one hand and pulled out her knife as she walked. Then she saw a flash of something big and hairy before the Minotaur slammed into her and sent her into a tree making a large dent in it, and the clatter of her knife and the bags was heard as she flew through the air. Then her body hit the tree with a snap and she fell to the ground limp. The Minotaur went over to her seemingly lifeless body before picking up her bloodied body and slamming it consistently into the tree.

It laughed as he heard her bones snap and her screams fill the air and then after one last slam the tree collapsed under the force and it frowned at it before throwing her far into the street and lobbing away as a car came into view. Annabeth saw the lights nearing her broken and hurting body before whispering "I'm sorry Percy" and going limp, forever.

Thanks for reading people and I am sorry, but I had to put it at a rather interesting cliffhanger, and by the way this was really painful to write, but it had to be done to keep the story going and the readers into it, 1276 words.
