I park the car and grab my keys.

"That guy was totally staring at us babe, didn't you see him?" Lisa said waving her hands in the air like this was some crisis. God I loved it when she called me pet names and the way she gets all crazy like she does. I slid my hand into hers and squeezed it tight. I pulled her really close so my mouth was right next to her ear and whispered in the way that always made her squirm and giggle.

"Yeah I saw him. Total mood killer for our anniversary."

I scoffed and stood up again saying too loud, "what a loser." I threw my head back, but right as I did, what I saw behind me made me regret saying those words.

"WHAT A LOOOOSERRRRRRR," I hear as Liam runs through the school gate jumping on my back. Mikee immediately follows.

Liam and Mikee are basically my best friends. They fight all the time and Liam usually wins by using his slightly bigger muscles to pin Mikee to the ground. It makes me laugh when I watch. I could easily pin them both, 2v1, any time I wanted. And they know it.

"LISA"

"JULES"

I look away from the guys for a second to see Juliet Simmons running towards my girlfriend. I didn't mind Jules but sometimes she's a little bit, much, and for some reason Lisa seemed to love it. I love her so I put up with it.

"Your coming to my house tonight for s'mores, cancel your plans right now! My dads gonna be in Vegas all night and I'm gonna be sooo lonely!" I hear Jules say.

Oh no. Tonight is me and Lisa night, ain't no way she's taking her from me.

I'm now walking away from the guys and whatever the hell they were punching each other about to tell Juliet about tonight. It's mine and Lisa's one year anniversary so hopefully I don't have to explain too much to Juliet.

"Hey uh Juliet. Tonight Lisa kinda has important plans, so no s'mores sorryyy," I said so wary. Like I was going to break her. Don't get me wrong Juliet is tough, but when it comes to her dad, man she's fragile.

Lisa then decided to cut in saying, "Babe, Jules knows about tonight, but I can't just leave her all alone in her house while her dads gone. What kind of best friend would I be to do that to her? Let's just go to dinner tomorrow night." She said grabbing Jules hands in hers and looking over her shoulders at me with these damn convincing puppy eyes. I look over to see Juliet almost bursting into tears and smiling away like an idiot.

I put my fingers to the bridge of my nose and rub it as if I'm thinking but really there's nothing to think about. I know Lisa won't change her mind about this and I don't feel like arguing with her. Plus, that puppy face is just too cute for me to say no to.

I sigh and throw my head back about to tell them it's okay. I look around for just a second to see someone staring right at me. I lock eyes with him and see he's got some dumb smirk on. He notices I caught him looking at me and then pretends to act like he wasn't just stating at me. What an idiot, it's the guy from earlier today! What's that nerd laughing about? Can he tell I'm distressed about my girlfriend and her stupid friend? Is he laughing that I'm having girl troubles?

I look at him with furrowed brows just in case I catch him staring at me again. He looks back one more time, seeing that I'm looking at him now he jumps out of his seat and grabs his things. He then walks rather quickly to his first hour class.

Well that was annoying. But I'm used to it by now. Nerds are always looking at me because they wish they were me. I don't usually mind, but this time it piked my nerves.
