WARNING: DEATH AND VIOLENCE

I watched as she stood up to him. Her new armor glimmering in the evening sun. She was about to take my kingdom back.
She had him on his knees. His army either dead or captured. I smiled for the first time in years. His crown fell off.
A cheer erupted from the crowd. Finally, he's giving up. I hugged the closest person to me. The sun was setting on a time of war. Tomorrow it would rise to a world of peace.
Have you ever wanted your life to be a TV show, so you could change the channel whenever? I have. I've wanted to change the channel many times. This is the time I wanted to most of all. But the remote's gone, and you have to sit and watch.
As the sun gave its last drop of light, a sword was pulled. A scream. She was on the ground. More yelling. Traitors. I ran. I kneeled next to her.
"Amelia, I love-, "she trailed off.
She was gone. Ripped from my life like an old patch. I heard someone talking, but I couldn't hear it. I faintly heard a sword whip through the air.
     I turned and grabbed it.
"It's dull, " was all I said before I plunged a dagger into his chest.
Tears stained my cheeks as I looked at her, the only person I loved. I heard someone running up to me. I let them come.
As I was spiraling to my death I looked for the remote. I saw it, but it was too late.
     I was gone

Okay, sorry another one with death. This was a weird one to write. Honestly, what are you supposed to write when it only says the remote's gone?  Until the next story, bye!
