Ryan's P.O.V:
"Dad, please! I'm sorry!" I cried out in pain, as my arm was twisted. I screamed as the bone fell out of place, and I fell to the floor. "That'll teach you for passing out at school! You little shit. You don't deserve a good life. Not for what you did to your mother." He growled, kicking me. For passing out at school, I had been awarded a black eye, a nose bleed, a bust lip, some bruises and a dislocated arm. "I didn't mean to push her! You lead me to it!" I shouted, blood covering my face. Gladly, Dad had had enough, and he left the room with a growl, and he slammed the door. I reached out for my phone, and dialled Baz's number. He answered immediately. "Ryan! How are you-" He was interrupted by me screaming down the line. "GET YOUR MUM TO CALL THE POLICE NOW AND ARREST THE BASTARD I CALL MY DAD!" Baz was silent. He was clearly waiting for an explanation. "HE BROKE MY ARM, BUST MY LIP, GAVE ME A NOSE BLEED, OH, AND LET'S NOT FORGET THE BRUISES!". Baz hung up, and I lay there in my room, bleeding out...

Baz's P.O.V:
I hung up the phone, and raced downstairs to my mother. I tried to act casual, and succeed. "Hey Mum, you remember Ryan? That boy who we were with in the Nurse's office?" I asked. She nodded in reply. "Well...HIS DAD HURT HIM AND WE NEED TO HELP HIM!" Baz's mother, Sherry, turned around in shock, and dialled the police. Was it that easy? "Hi, yes this is Sherry. Listen, there's a boy, one of Baz's friends...Yes, I think that's his name. Well, his Dad's hurt him, so get here quick! Yes, here's the address." Bad told his mother the address, and his mother told it back to the officer and they were on their way. "Right. Let's go." She said, forgetting their coats and rushed to Ryan's house in the rain...
