A New Member?

The next time I woke up I could not recognize where I was. Looking around more I saw Mick, Nate, and Ray at a table playing cards. I noticed I was wearing my normal clothes and my bags were by my feet. I closed my eyes wishing I was dead right now when I heard one of the men get up.

"Hey guys she's awake." Ray said. Opening my eyes again I saw all of them where around me. "How did you end up with Darhk?"

I told the them how I found the suit and letter and my plan. When I was done talking I felt ashamed of myself for getting tricked so easily. They left saying they were going to tell Sara what I told them. I don't know why but Mick said he was going to stay behind. When it was just me and Mick he was drinking some beer and I just sat thinking what will happen next.

"How old are you kid?" Mick asked.

"16 almost 17." I said.

"Ever had any alcohol?"

"I tried both beer and wine. When I tried them I spit it out."

"It takes awhile but when you drink it often you get used to the taste." He said looking at me smiling.

It was quiet once again until Nate and Ray came back in with Sara.

"What's next?" Sara asked me.

"What do you mean?" I said to her.

"If we take you back what will you do next."

"Honest answer?"

"Honest answer."

I had to think about that for a minute. My family now thinks I'm a hero saving the world and would not be expecting me. And one thing I've been wanting to do was run away but I was just waiting for the right time.

"Run away and start a new life." I said.

"Seriesly? That's your answer?" Sara said shocked. "Why would you do that?"

"For the past two years I never liked my life and I wanted to start over somehow where no one would know me."

"Look Nate and Ray told me how you wound up with Damien. You were strong and didn't tell him anything about us. I looked threw your stuff and found some weapons, can you tell me why you have them."

"My mom gave them to me. Her and her boyfriend taught me how to use the bow and arrow and I used the machete to clear some overgrowth in backyards."

"Can you guys give us a minute?" Sara asked the guys.

They left and Sara stood in front of me and started to think. I started to wonder if they will take me back home or not. If they did I would do like I said and runaway. If they let me stay I would try to help them anyway I could.

"Ok I'll train you to use your weapons better and you can be part of the team, but you have to earn your place." Sara said.

"Why?" I asked.

"You remind me of myself when I was a teenager, and if that's correct then I can tell that you want to be greater than you are and I'll help you. Geiden how is she?"

"She is almost fully healed, Damien Darhk broke a few of her ribs and made her sprained ankle even worse. It will take a coupe more hours for me to fix her up." The A.I said.

"Let me get the rest of the team so you know everyone."

Sara left to get the rest of the team and I stayed in the med bay, even though I couldn't move anyway. Soon she came back with the whole team. I was debating with myself if I should tell them that in the universe they crashed in they had a show and I know who everyone is but I decided against it.

"Ok well I'm Sara," Sara started, "And this is Nate, Mick, Jackson, Zari, Ray, Amya, and Leonard. Everyone this is Annabella Doyle our new member to the team."

After she said the last sentence everyone besides Mick, Leo, and Ray started saying that I shouldn't join them.

"I don't think a new member is what we need right now." Zari said.

"Ya well I made the call and now she's a part of us whether you like it or not." Sara said. "I want you all to be nice to her and help her out ok?"

Everyone mutter a yes or an ok and left the room. At first I was happy Sara let me on the team but now I'm not so sure.
