"They experimented on us. That sick 'Community' we lived in was nothing but a lie, and all of us there knew it. You may not remember, but the placed looked like something off of a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. The downfall was the fact that inside we lived in lock down, twenty-four-seven. We were like penned up sheep waiting for slaughter. There were no happy family there.

"Which was kinda of ironic considering they called each house a 'Family' of the 'Community'. Families were basically the groups they kept us in. All of us experiments were grouped like this. All the same tests took place under the same roof and similar experiments were the 'Neighbors'. In every house they keep scientists (they typically played parents, sometimes the grandparents for the public eye) who monitored everything we did.

"When they were ready to run all of their tests and freaky stuff on us, they sent us underground. Every house was linked through huge tunnels which all met up in the same underground scientific testing facility. This was where the horror happened. If you really don't remember anything then I won't going into detail. It's best that you don't remember all of the tests anyways. In short most of us have gruesome memories, horrible scars, and either 'enhancements' (As they liked to call them) or deformities as most of us ended up with. Except the lucky ones.

"Let's see... oh yeah, they had the 'School' too. The School was kinda like a normal school (not that we've ever been to one, so I'm not really positive on that) but it was only for the kids who lived in the Community. They taught us the fundamentals like the alphabet and addition, but that was about it. The rest off the time there it was more like a suicide gym. They kept us in shape so we wouldn't get sick and put into the pit stop if you know what I mean. We also learned to hone our snazzy skills too.

"I'll tell you this much; They pushed us like we were dolls for them to play with at the School, but they sure showed a lot more mercy there then anywhere in the Community. From the time that I can remember they only had one accidental death at the School."

I digested this. With my stomach churning on over drive I couldn't but ask. "Someone... died at the school?"

"Yeah, it's kind of a lot to explain, but I'll try and break it down easily for you. The scientists from the Community want us alive. Something about trying to create a better life form or super human weapons of some sort. Either way, I don't know why it is, but they want us alive 'cuzz we're valuable to them. 'Life time projects.

"Most of the kids their don't make it long enough to live out their twenties. For some of us they modify our DNA before we're even born, for others they do it after we're born, and you can only imagine the effects of that. Some of the alterations made for short and painful lives... some were never even born alive...

"Anyways, the remaining kids, like I said earlier, were put into the School. And also like I said, the pushed us hard. Some kids had dangerous abilities and they just kinda... self destructed. When you are poked and prodded all day long only to go to school for some physical training it can really wear down on you.

"The kid that died had a heart condition that none of the scientists knew about until after his big finale. He also had adult muscles on a little kid body, which they were pushing to the max. How much can this kid lift? Well, let's see. We'll just keep adding more weight until his heart explodes and and he makes a giant scene. Trust me, it wasn't pretty in the least the way." Scio cleared his throat before he continued.

"Well, anyways I think that's enough gloom and doom for one day. Let's move onto a success story. This one was always one of your favorites, you used to called it 'Scio and I'.

"This story begins in that sad little Community we knew so well. Once upon a time there was a boy and a girl in the Community who were neighbors. They never really got to know each other very well, but they spent time together in School. He knew she was an 'only child' in her Family so he talked to her when he could. She was quiet and spent the spare time she had in her house (which wasn't very much and everybody else used it for sleeping time) studying books. She had the best education of any of the experiments.
