My Protector

Bev and I were sunbathing next to each other and just talking "You do realize that all the guys get all crushy on the girls in our group right?" I looked at her with a bored expression. I sighed "I guess" "Look behind you" she whispered. I turned my head to see all the guys just staring at us, they quickly looked away but Bill didn't "Y-Y-You ok? Y-You took a bad f-fall.." "So did you!" I said looking at my leg that became a dark red earlier. Bill laughed and smiled at me "I didn't fall a-as hard a-as y-you did" I smiled "Fine, my leg is deep red" "D-Do you need help?" "No.." "Your ok?" I nodded with a smile. Bill nodded and looked at the others who were staring at me, I blushed and Richie was searching through Ben's book bag. 

Then he found a folder "Woah, what project is this?" I leaned on my palm as he looked through it. Everyone was looking through it as Ben explained "I didn't have any friends when I first moved here... So I just hung out at the library" the folder got passed onto Bill "Let me see" Beverly said getting up and sitting next to Bill. Richie fake coughed and looked at Ben "On purpose?" Ben rolled his eyes and explained the murders of children in Derry "you guys see? Derry isn't a normal little town..." I rolled my eyes "Seems to me.. You guys are craaazy!" I said. They looked at me "S-Sam.. You may be very c-c-cute.... and I c-c-can't take my eyes off o--of you.... but... You always wanted to get rid o-of IT!" Bill said standing up.

I sat up on the blanket "I don't remember-" "Sam.. Listen to me..." Bill said going over to me and kneeling down. Billy looked into my eyes and cupped my cheek "You may not remember... a-and its not your fault! B-But.. IT killed.. IT did all of this crazy shit to all of us!" I nodded "I need to see IT to remember..." "Sam.. I want to be your protector! I don't want you to see it..." I sighed "Bill I-" Billy kissed me and I stayed in shock. Then he pulled away "I-I-I don't expect you t-to r-r-remember... us... but I hope you do sometime..." I nodded and he stood up and sat where he was earlier. I sighed "Now you two aren't being so lovey dovey... I want us to go back to my house so I can explain some more.." Ben said seeming upset.

We nodded and gathered our clothes since everyone was dry from the swim, I put my clothes on to see them all staring at me except for Bev "You guys coming?" she asked from a yard away. We called to her "Yeah" and I grabbed my stuff and ran up with them to be pulled away from the group. I squeaked and a hand go over my mouth, I tossed and turned but was met with the same clown that revived me.
