It's the most awaited Ateneo vs La Salle. As usual, drums are rolling, people are chanting and cheering, hearts are beating, but what's unusual is a pair of eyes watching for the first time.
An unusual scenario just happened. After years of disappearing from his school, the media, and even his parents, he was there. He popped like a bubble. For almost a year, no one has heard about him, not even his family said a word about what happened and why he suddenly disappeared. What's more unusual is, he was seated at the premier suite/area of the MOA arena, where no one could barely see him...until the floor director of ABS-CBN who was in charge of the volleyball tournament caught an eye on him..
Bea's POV
*breathe in, breathe out
This is it Bea, its time to prove everyone that I still have the heart of not only a lion, but also a champion.
Upon entering the arena, I felt nervous. I didn't even get to be that jolly around the court while we were warming up. Something's bothering me. I feel that something is wrong or something is not what it normally is.
The buzzer just rang and this is it, it's ATENEO vs LA SALLE. But just before the commentator introduced us players, a loud bunch of screams, yells and murmurs suddenly caught my attention. And like a first instinct, I looked up at the big screen monitor and saw a guy...
I saw Thirdy.
My heart joined the drums as they rolled and sounded so fast, so loud and so good. He's here. Finally. My heart, oh my gosh!
It was Thirdy who was evidently shocked that despite him being in the premier area/special area, the camera still got a shot of him. All he did was scratch his nape and hestitantly smiled.
Bea tried to find where he was. She used her chinky eyes and made them smaller to see clearly. Her eyes were at 20-20 vision that's why she wouldn't have a hard time.
Her eyes were caught by a man waving and smiling at him from the far end of the arena. He even mouthed "GOODLUCK" to her.
And with that, she gained all her confidence and happiness within her. He came, he didn't fail my expectations.

The game went good, as the Lady Eagles survived a five set thriller with Bea, who was very energetic and who was hammering down almost all balls given to her, being named as the Best Player of the Game.
CSR: So Bea, how does it feel to get one game closer to your Farewell Championship?
Bea: Well, of course it feels great. But we should never be complacent with what are standing is now. We should always keep in mind what our coaches and managers tell us. We're one step closer but three sets far from getting the gold and making our univeristy and families proud.
CSR: Indeed a great mindset from our captain. So, would you like to great anyone?
Bea: Oh yeah. First of all, thank You Lord, for always guiding us and blessing us with your kindness and love, second I would like to greet the Ateneo community, from the Ateneans who never failed to support us, the UAO people, our managers and our coaches, third my family, hi mom, dad and kuya, who are somewhere here watching hahaha, lastly, the supporters of the team who were and are always there to cheer for us, big thanks to you guys!!! ....and uhm hi Thirds, thank you for coming, you're not malas anymore b. Uh...oh shocks..(covers her mouth) thats all thank you!!
