He had absolutely no idea where he stood with you. Kyōtani didn't know if you were just friends, or in some unspoken relationship, or somewhere in between-- if "somewhere in between"actually existed; he had absolutely no clue-- and it was confusing the hell out of him. For the past week, the hand-holding and date-like activities made him think he had been caught in a relationship with you. Kyōtani didn't mind (in fact, he wanted to be your boyfriend), but he just didn't know where he stood with you. And now, a week after the movie, he was determined to find out.
So here he was, marching towards your house in the bitter cold. It was a nice Saturday evening with a slight chance of rain, but he didn't care if he got soaked. In all honesty, he was wondering if that expected rain would turn out to be snow, considering the temperature. His ears felt like they were being freezer burnt, since he had ignored his mother's badgering for him to grab a hat. He only had a grey sweatshirt and a pair of jeans with tears starting to form in the knees from over-wearing them.
A car Kyōtani hadn't seen before sat in your driveway when he arrived: a red Toyota. Ignoring the car, he stepped onto your wooden porch and reached to knock on the door; it opened before he could touch it. A tall boy, maybe two years older than Kyōtani, stood there, pulling the door open. He had nice (e/c) eyes, and, Kyōtani noticed, was quite handsome.
The boy shot Kyōtani a confused look and turned back, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "I'll, uh, text you later, (F/n)."
"Yeah..." You glanced at Kyōtani, who was beginning to fume a bit. "Call me when you make it to your dorm. Bye, Jun. Kyōtani... Did you want to come in?" You slightly tugged the boy in, closing the door behind Jun.
"(L/n)," he started, his chest heaving as he stepped towards you.
You looked up at him, bodies merely inches apart, and quirked an eyebrow. "Are you okay? Did I do something? You look... upset."
"I need to know what the hell I am to you. I mean, the hugging and holding hands and... all that, it's fucking me up. I mean, if you're with that guy or whatever, that's fine with me-- I like you, but I can deal with that-- but I need to know where I stand."
"You want an official relationship, then?" you asked, stepping even closer to him.
His breath grew heavier and more drawn out, like a dog begging for a bone. "Y-yeah, I do. I want..." his eyes trailed down to your plump, supple lips, slightly parted and allowing warm breaths to fan across his neck. "I want to know what the hell we are."
"Yeah, I was... wondering the same thing."
Slowly but surely, your lips gravitated towards each other's, and Kyōtani was soon kissing you. He didn't know what he was doing; with you it just felt natural. You raised your hands, cupping his warm cheeks within them, and his hands trailed to your waist and around you back. He was so desperate, so voracious, so full of desire, that he kissed you with enough force to sink a ship.
When he finally, yet reluctantly, tugged himself away from you, Kyōtani couldn't help but stare down at you; your cheeks were hot and as pink as could be, and your lips had swelled slightly and had remnants of his saliva sticking to them. Your hair was pulled into a messy braid, which trailed over your shoulder and chest, the latter of which was heaving now.
"So... does that answer your question? Whether or not we're dating?" You cracked a tiny smile and pressed your face into his chest for a warm hug.
"I--" He sighed contently, feeling your little frame melt into his arms. "I guess it does. But... who was that guy earlier?"
"That would be my brother, Jun, a college student in Sendai. He was going to visit my parents and me, but they were out antiquing or something, so we just hung out. I do not have a second boyfriend."
He smirked slightly, resting his chin on your head. "You better not."
"Nah. I like you too much."
"Same here. I like you too much, too."
