chapter15: truth revealed again

I woke up in the morning with a severe headache and aching body. I yawned and stretched. It was already six in the morning.
I dragged myself to the toilet, i brushed my teeth, performed ablution and prayed.
I wake up my babies, and bathe them.
Suwaibah was in the kitchen cooking indomie. When she saw me she hissed. I just shrugged, i have many problems on my shoulders.
I made pies and tea and put everything on a tray a,d went upstairs to his room.
I did salam and entered, he was in the toilet bathing.
I kept the tray and made his bed, put everything back in place.
When he came out i handed him a towel but he just ignored me.
I watch him as he wiped his body and changed into a kaftan.
He picked up his briefcase and was about to go out when i stopped him by holding his hands.
"Please eat before you go out"
He shot me an angry look and i immediately let go of his hand a,d watch him go out.
I wiped away the tears on my cheek and went back to my room.
U took my bath and also went to work. I spent the day sad.

Mansoor stopped talking to me, he don't eat the food i cook, he comes home very late at night, he stooped playing with the kids.
I was worried like hell.
One Sunday, i was in the kitchen cooking, when i heard movements behind me.
He was looking for something,probably coffee because the one in the dinning is finished and i forgot to refill the container.
Suwaibah entered the kitchen to pick a spoon and in the process forget her phone on the counter.
The phone vibrated and he picked it. It was a WhatsApp message.
I don't know what got into him but he opened the message. It read;

Wallahi suwaibah if u don't pay me am gonna expose ur secret. U don't know how it takes to edit a naked photo of a man and woman in bed. I give u just two days to pay my money if not i will expose u. From Breezy ur love.
Innalillahi was all i heard him say.

I looked up at hi. He handed me the phone and i read the message, i was more surprised than him.
"Suwaibah suwaibah!

He called her and she came running.."lafiya wannan kira...."
Before she could finish he landed a hot slap on her mouth.
"Suwaibah Allah ya isa. So can pay someone to ruin the life of my wife. What has she done to you tell me"
All these while i was just looking at them. I was so shocked. I know she never liked me but i never thought she can do something as bad as this.
I was thrown away from my thoughts when i heard him calling his parents on phone to come.
Suwaibah was on the floor, her legs spread apart, hands on head crying.
"Yaya mansoor wallahi if my father hear of this he will kill me. Please am sorry."
I pitied her. He just hissed and went out. I followed him to the sitting room.
He looked at me with regret in his eyes. I turned away my face. I don't know why i have to face all these.
I looked down at my feet trying to hide the tears in my eyes.
He came closer to me and hugged me.
"Am so sorry i treated you badly. Am so sorry baby forgive me."
I put my hands round his back and cried on his chest. He stroked my back soothing me.
"Salamu alaikum"
We were interrupted by his parents. I quickly broke the hug and kneeled down and greet them.
I went to Abba's side and greeted him.
After they sat down Mansoor told them all that happened. They were also surprised. All these while suwaibah was on the kitchen floor crying.
"Keh munafuka come out here"!
Momma shouted at her. She came out rubbing her ear with her head down.
Momma, Abba and Meerah scolded her and asked her to pack her clothes and leave.
