Laney's Pov.

Tuesday night.

I cut into the bottle of milk before rolling it back over to Scott, helping Derek teach him and to get a bit of pay back by scaring the crap out of him.

I walk over to see Derek pinning Scott down on the hood of a car "You're dead" Knowing Derek is also upset with Scott since I got hurt last night by saving Sheriff Stilinski.

Before I follow him, Scott follows after us "What the hell was that?" Scott questions, looking at the both of us.

"Said I was gonna teach you. I didn't say when" Derek says, informing Scott.

"I was getting my start of payback" I say, grinning to myself, walking next to Derek.

"You guys scared the crap out of me!" Scott says, looking like he's freaking out.

"Not yet" Derek and I say, as we continue walking.

"Okay, I was fast, right?" Scott asks, looking hopeful.

"Not fast enough" Derek says.

"You were as fast as a normal human on the track team" I look at Scott "The alpha is faster" I say before continue walking with Derek.

"But the car alarm thing, that was smart, right?" Scott asks, almost like he's asking to be praised or something.

"Till your phone rang" Derek points out.

"It gave away your location" I added.

"Yeah, but that was... I mean..." Scott tries to come up with a excuse "Would you two just stop?" Scott yells at our backs, causing us to face him "Please? What happened the other night, Stiles dad almost getting hurt if it wasn't for Laney, that was my fault. I should have been there to do something" Scott says, as I nod in agreement "I need you to teach me how to control this"

"Look, I am what I am because of birth. You were bitten. Teaching someone who was bitten takes time. I don't even know if I can teach you" Derek says, looking at me.

"What do I have to do?" Scott asks, looking at Derek then over to me and back to him.

"You have to get rid of distractions" Derek says, handing Scott's phone to me.

I grin at Scott "You see this?" Holding the phone up, to see it was Allison calling "This is why Derek caught you"

"You want me to teach you? Get rid of her" Derek says.

"What, just because of her family?" Scott asks.

I show Scott the phone, smirking before I throw it at the wall very hard breaking it into pieces.

"Wait, wait, wait...Woah!" Scott says, staring at his phone with wide eyes.

I turn back to Scott "You getting angry? That's your first lesson. You want to learn how to control this, how to shift, you do it through anger, by tapping into a primal animal rage, and you can't do that with her around" I say, knowing Allison must be his anchor.

Scott glares at me "I can get angry"

"Not angry enough" I say "This is the only way, Derek and I can teach you"

"Now, can you stay away from her? At least until after the full moon?" Derek asks, bringing Scott's focus onto him.

"If that's what it takes" Scott says, not meeting Derek's eyes letting me know he's lying.

"Do you want to live?" I say looking at Scott "Do you want to protect your friends? Yes or no?"

"Yes" Scott says, looking at Derek and I truthfully "If you can teach me. I can stay away from her"
